N Seoul Tower Launches Early-Bird Ticket Sales for Namsan Wine Festa

N Seoul Tower has begun early-bird ticket sales for the Namsan Wine Festa, scheduled to run from Oct. 12 to Nov. 8, its operator CJ Foodville announced Monday.

The event, titled "Fall in R.E.D. Festa," will combine wine, food and seasonal activities against the backdrop of Namsan's autumn foliage. The program consists of the Namsan Wine Festa and Autumn Taste Road, which features limited-time menu items from the tower's food and beverage outlets.

The Namsan Wine Festa itself will be held Oct. 17-18 and Oct. 24-25 at the N Seoul Tower's plaza. Now in its ninth edition this fall, the event will offer more than 200 varieties of wine, along with food and live music.

CJ Foodville, the restaurant and food-service arm of South Korean conglomerate CJ Group, changed the event's name from Namsan Wine Fair to Namsan Wine Festa this year to highlight activities beyond wine tasting and sales. The four-day program features live jazz performances, games, lucky draws and a wine market where visitors can buy bottles.

The festival has attracted strong interest from foreign visitors, who made up about 20 percent of total attendees at the spring edition of the wine festival earlier this year. That international presence aligns with the tower's profile as one of Seoul's most visited landmarks, situated atop Namsan Mountain in central Seoul and drawing tourists year-round, particularly during the autumn foliage season when the festa is scheduled.

Early-bird sales opened Monday, with tickets to be released in phases through designated channels including N Seoul Tower's Naver Smart Store, Kakao Reservation, Dailyshot and Coupang. Advance purchases come with discounts of up to 35 percent off the regular price.

An adult ticket, priced at 60,000 won, includes unlimited tastings of roughly 200 wines, a Riedel tasting glass, a chilling bag, a wine-glass holder strap and two food vouchers. The ticket also covers admission to the N Seoul Tower observatory, normally priced at 29,000 won, plus a package of coupons for participating food and beverage brands. Children's tickets, priced at 10,000 won, include a food voucher, a bead ice cream coupon, access to game booths and observatory admission.

Meanwhile, Autumn Taste Road will run for the full 28-day festival period, with participating restaurants offering seasonal items ranging from Korean snack food, pizza, burgers and desserts to French and Korean grill courses.
