MEXC, a pioneer in zero-fee digital asset trading, has upgraded its RealStocks product with three new features aimed at improving access to U.S. equities, streamlining fund and portfolio management, and supporting long-term investment strategies on the platform.

RealStocks is a cross-market trading product launched by MEXC in partnership with regulated brokerage firms, enabling eligible users to directly purchase and hold real shares of more than 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. The product reflects a broader industry trend in which cryptocurrency exchanges are expanding beyond digital assets to offer traditional financial instruments, bridging the gap between crypto-native platforms and conventional brokerage services.

The first new feature, RealStocks Real-World Assets (RWA), gives users a trading experience that more closely reflects the actual U.S. equity market, including applicable shareholder rights where available. The RWA designation aligns with a growing segment of the blockchain and digital asset sector focused on representing real-world financial instruments on-chain or through crypto-adjacent infrastructure, giving users direct ownership rather than synthetic or derivative-based exposure.

The second feature addresses funding friction. When a RealStocks account lacks sufficient balance, users can now transfer available assets directly from their Spot account during the order process, removing the need to pre-fund the RealStocks account separately. This unification of crypto and equities balances within a single platform interface mirrors features commonly found in mainstream investment apps and reduces operational hurdles for users managing multi-asset portfolios.

The third addition is Recurring Investments for stocks. Users can designate a fixed monetary amount and an investment frequency—such as weekly or monthly—to automatically purchase selected stocks. This reduces manual order placement and supports a consistent, long-term investment approach, a strategy widely used in traditional retail investing through dollar-cost averaging.

MEXC positions itself as a one-stop trading platform offering multiple pathways to U.S. equities, including RealStocks, Tokenized Stocks, Stock Futures, and Pre-IPO Launchpad opportunities. The expansion of these offerings comes as competition intensifies among digital asset exchanges seeking to capture retail demand for cross-market trading under unified account structures.

The exchange continues to emphasize its commitment to "0 Fees" and "Infinite Opportunities" by lowering trading barriers and broadening market access. In July, MEXC offered zero-fee trading across 995 trading pairs, saving users a total of $112 million in trading fees.
