MEXC Marks 18th Anniversary of Bitcoin Whitepaper With “One Paper. Infinite Markets.” Campaign

MEXC, a digital asset trading platform that offers 0-fee trading, has launched its Bitcoin Whitepaper Day 2026 campaign under the theme “One Paper. Infinite Markets.” The campaign marks the 18th anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper and examines developments in financial markets since the document was published in 2008.

The whitepaper — a nine-page document titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System,” released under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity has never been publicly confirmed — appeared on October 31, 2008, amid the global financial crisis. MEXC said its influence has extended beyond Bitcoin, reflecting broader changes in how value moves, when markets operate, who can participate, and how assets are issued, held and traded. As crypto and traditional finance become increasingly interconnected, the company said it aims to encourage community dialogue and explore opportunities across evolving financial markets.

Crypto assets are being incorporated into exchange-traded funds and institutional portfolios, a category that includes the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs that began trading in January 2024, while traditional assets—including stocks, gold and commodities—as well as pre-IPO investment opportunities are becoming available through crypto platforms and on-chain markets.

“The paper ended on page nine. The markets did not,” MEXC said. The company uses “Page 10” to describe the developments that have followed the whitepaper and the continuing evolution of global financial markets.

MEXC said it is participating in this evolution under its “0 Fees, Infinite Opportunities” vision. The company said it is developing products and services intended to lower barriers to market participation and reduce friction in traditional asset trading. Through its one-stop platform, users can access cryptocurrencies, stocks, tokenized stocks, gold and commodities through one account.

MEXC’s stock ecosystem covers the market lifecycle from Pre-IPO to IPO and Post-IPO. Its products include Pre-IPO Futures, Pre-IPO Launchpad, IPO Launchpad, IPO Express, RealStocks, tokenized stocks and Stock Futures. Tokenized stocks are blockchain-based representations of traditional equities, the format through which conventional shares become available on crypto platforms. Selected products provide extended or around-the-clock market access and support both long and short positions, according to the company.

As of September 2026, MEXC offered access to more than 10,000 TradFi assets. During the same period, the company said its 0-fee trading offering helped users save $110 million in trading fees.

“The whitepaper ran to just nine pages, but its impact continues to unfold far beyond them,” said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. “Eighteen years later, the evolution of crypto and traditional finance is opening up new ways for people to participate in global markets. At MEXC, we believe opportunities should not be limited by geography, time or access to assets. As markets continue to evolve, we want to help users navigate this changing landscape and shape what comes next.”

The campaign also includes The Paper That Never Ended, a hero film distributed through MEXC’s social media channels, and an interactive game offering participants the chance to win rewards.
