LoanPro, the modern lending and credit platform, will host the third annual Salt Flats Summit from Sept. 16-18, 2026, bringing lending and credit executives back to Utah for three days of sessions, product showcases and a keynote setting the company describes as unlike anything else on the fintech conference calendar.
The invite-only gathering sold out at 200 in-person attendees in its second year in 2025. This year, LoanPro is opening the guest list to as many as 500 lending and credit executives — two and a half times the 2025 cap and the largest edition to date.
Summit Snapshot
- Dates: Sept. 16-18, 2026
- Locations: The Olympic Oval in Salt Lake City and the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah
- Attendance: Up to 500 lending and credit executives, up from 200 in 2025
- Format: Invite-only, with no vendor booths, no hotel ballroom and no rush between sessions
Main speakers include LoanPro CEO Rhett Roberts, Olympic speed skater Derek Parra, 2034 Winter Olympic CEO Brad Wilson, Utah Government Office of Economic Development's Jefferson Moss, Mastercard's Priscilla Gomez, Stripe's Ravi Adusumilli, AWS's Mariah Miller and Amanda Lester, Moov's Wade Arnold and Jack Henry's Ben Metz.
Partners supporting the event include Mastercard, Cross River Bank, Bloom Credit, Moov, AllCloud, Stripe, Gestalt, Socure, NxtMoves, Visa DPS, GOED, GDS Link, Praxent, Walnut, Footprint, CheckAlt, Bankruptcy Watch, iLex, TAB Bank, Luby, Repay and CRS Credit.
Read together, the partner list spans the modern lending stack — card networks and payment processors (Mastercard, Visa DPS, Stripe, Moov, Repay, CheckAlt), bank partners (Cross River Bank, TAB Bank), credit and risk data providers (Bloom Credit, GDS Link, CRS Credit) and identity and fraud verification firms (Socure, Footprint) — putting attendees in one room with a cross-section of the vendors behind the workflows on the Summit agenda, without a single exhibit booth.
The Summit opens the evening of Sept. 16 with a welcome reception at the Olympic Oval, the speed skating venue built for the 2002 Winter Games, where Roberts will be joined on stage by Parra and Brad Wilson for a conversation on what it takes to win at the highest level. Parra took the 1,500-meter gold at those 2002 Salt Lake City Games with a world-record skate at the Oval, while Wilson now leads the committee preparing the city to host the Winter Olympics again in 2034. Guests can skate or curl on the same ice used by Olympic athletes before the group heads out to the flats the next morning.
Day two moves the entire Summit onto the Bonneville Salt Flats, the 30,000-acre remnant of ancient Lake Bonneville where land speed records have been set for a century. LoanPro has built a full day of programming around the same idea, with sessions on where North American credit is heading, what AI infrastructure actually looks like in production with AWS, and how lenders are rebuilding their payments and origination stacks. The day continues with afternoon activities on the flats, a dinner under the open sky, customer awards and a live performance by LifeHouse.
The final day returns to a breakout format, with three concurrent tracks covering payment rail strategy, AI-driven fraud threats and what lenders need to have in order before their next regulatory exam.
"We have had excellent feedback that this unique event is truly unlike any other. We have created the ideal conditions for people to show up as their genuine selves. The content is superb, more conversations are quality, authentic relationships are built, and more deals get done here than at any other conference in the industry," said Rhett Roberts, CEO of LoanPro.
LoanPro launched the Salt Flats Summit in 2024 as an alternative to the standard fintech conference circuit, trading exhibit halls for an unconventional venue built around direct, high-level conversation among founders, CTOs and product leaders at credit unions, banks and fintech lenders. For the Utah-based company, whose platform runs loan management, servicing and credit operations for those lenders, the Summit also serves as its flagship product showcase — and the 500-seat 2026 edition is the largest test yet of how the format holds at scale. Attendance remains by invitation only.
