LoanPro Brings Payments, Card Disbursement and AI Servicing Into One Lending Platform to Cut Servicing Costs

LoanPro, the modern lending and credit platform, has announced a suite of new products spanning payments, card-based loan disbursement and AI-assisted servicing, bringing functions that lenders often manage across multiple vendors into a single system with the stated aim of cutting the cost of servicing. The consolidation targets a familiar operational split, in which payments, disbursement and servicing each sit with a different vendor and staff piece the data together by hand. The company unveiled the products to lenders and partners at its annual, invite-only Salt Flats Summit, where each launch was demonstrated live on stage.

“Lenders have asked us for years to handle more of this for them, with one contract and one team to call,” said Rhett Roberts, CEO and co-founder of LoanPro. “Payment processing, real-time card disbursement and AI guardrails are now built into LoanPro’s core, and all of it is live today. A lender can now get funds to a borrower on a Friday night or have an AI agent help service an account, and all of it stays inside LoanPro.”

The launches include LoanPro DirectPay, payment processing built by LoanPro and integrated throughout its platform, and Beyond Credit, a virtual Mastercard now onboarding installment lenders, which lets them disburse loan funds to a borrower’s digital wallet in real time. For servicing teams, LoanPro introduced the AI Account Briefing and the LoanPro MCP, which connects AI agents to the platform under the same access controls and compliance guardrails lenders use for their human agents. LoanPro also announced new payment partners, Risk Radar delinquency prediction, ongoing compliance monitoring, LoanPro Connect and full support for secured cards.

LoanPro Payments and LoanPro DirectPay

LoanPro has renamed its payment suite LoanPro Payments. Across its customer base, the platform moves about $4 billion a month in loan repayments and disbursements. The centerpiece of the suite is LoanPro DirectPay, a payment processing service LoanPro built itself and integrated throughout the platform.

Because LoanPro holds both the loan data and the processing data, DirectPay reconciles transactions automatically, so operations teams no longer have to spend hours matching reports by hand. During a borrower call, servicing agents can follow a payment step by step, see why a payment failed, and process a dispute or refund without switching systems. New customers go through an automated onboarding flow and, once approved, can begin accepting payments in about 20 minutes. DirectPay runs on partner infrastructure processes more than $2 trillion in transactions a year, with no throttling or throughput.

LoanPro Payments also adds two partners. Moov is now the first payment processor customers can buy directly through LoanPro, with one contract and one pricing schedule. CheckAlt brings lockbox processing and is already integrated with the platform. LoanPro will continue to support and invest in all of its existing processor integrations and partnerships.

Beyond Credit

Beyond Credit is a virtual Mastercard that works as an access device to an installment loan. Lenders can disburse loan funds in real time to a borrower’s Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet, 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays when ACH does not run. That window matters in practice: funds released outside ACH’s schedule — on a Friday night or a holiday — would otherwise sit until the next business day, which is the gap card-based disbursement is designed to close. The card does not revolve and carries no fees or interest; those terms stay on the loan itself in LoanPro.

Lenders can limit where the card works by merchant name, merchant ID, location or merchant category code, and they can receive merchant-level spend data. LoanPro serves as program manager, handling customer service, disputes and chargebacks, and manages fraud mitigation with Mastercard and its issuing processor. Beyond Credit is onboarding installment lenders now.

LoanPro Intelligence Suite and the LoanPro MCP

The new LoanPro Intelligence Suite, which includes the AI Account Briefing, gives servicing agents a plain-language summary of each account, with health indicators, recent activity and suggested next steps based on how that lender handles similar situations. In a LoanPro survey of lenders on its platform, agents spent an average of 20% of each servicing call looking for information. In LoanPro’s testing, the briefing cut that to 10% to 15% of a call, and to 5% in some cases. The briefing runs on models post-trained by LoanPro and deployed inside each customer’s own AWS environment, so lender data stays within that perimeter. It builds on the AI-native interface LoanPro developed with AllCloud and AWS, which cut customer call times by up to 15%.

The LoanPro MCP (Model Context Protocol) powers the suite, letting lenders connect AI agents and models of their choice to the platform. Phase one is live now and supports pulling account context and history, processing payments, setting up autopay and recording promises to pay. Every request passes through LoanPro’s role-based access controls and compliance guardrails, so an AI agent can reach only what its human user can reach, and each action is recorded in the audit trail under that person’s name. The design speaks to the central question lenders face as AI enters servicing: how software can act on accounts without stepping outside the controls, audit trails and compliance obligations built around human staff. A second phase will add broader servicing, including borrower communications. A third phase, planned for next year, will extend the MCP to every LoanPro service.

“You will only ever drive as fast as you trust your brakes to stop you,” said Colin Terry, Chief Product Officer at LoanPro. “Lenders have spent years building controls around their human agents, and the LoanPro MCP runs through those same role-based access controls and compliance guardrails. We bring the context, the action and the trust. You bring the thinking, and you have an AI strategy in a box.”

Additional Announcements

  • Risk Radar: A machine learning model trained on a lender’s own portfolio that predicts the likelihood of delinquency, so servicing teams know which accounts to call first. Risk Radar feeds into the AI Account Briefing and will be available in the coming weeks.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Automated SCRA, MLA, Death Master File, consumer bankruptcy and OFAC checks on a schedule the lender chooses, with the ability to act on any hit.
  • LoanPro Connect: A platform extension linking activity in LoanPro to more than 1,200 off-the-shelf APIs, including Google Sheets, Outlook and Slack.
  • Secured Cards and Associated Ledgers: Associated Ledgers track a deposit or other asset balance on an account and can tie available credit to it, giving LoanPro full support for secured cards. Accounts can hold an unlimited number of associated ledgers, and the feature comes to installment loans by the end of the year.

According to the company, payment processing, real-time card disbursement and its AI guardrails are live in the platform today, while Risk Radar will follow in the coming weeks and Associated Ledger support for installment loans is due by the end of the year. The roadmap also sets up what to watch next: the MCP’s second phase, which will bring borrower communications into AI-assisted servicing, and a third phase planned for next year that extends the protocol to every LoanPro service.
