Life360 Reports Record Q2 2026 Results with Total Revenue Up 38%

Life360 (ASX:360), the family location safety app developer, has posted record financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, with total revenue reaching an all-time high of US$159 million, driven by strong performance across both subscription and advertising segments.

CEO Lauren Antonoff said the company achieved its highest-ever Q2 Paying Circle net additions alongside record total revenue, while monthly active users (MAU) returned to the growth trajectory outlined the previous quarter.

"This quarter, Life360 crossed 100 million monthly active users—proof of the trust millions of families place in us to stay connected, coordinated, and safe," Antonoff said. "Disciplined execution drove strong Paying Circle growth and put MAU back on the growth trajectory we outlined last quarter. With the Life360 Ads Platform integration largely complete, we're now focused on building awareness and commercial momentum."

The 100 million MAU milestone places Life360 among the largest consumer safety platforms globally, a scale that distinguishes it in a competitive family location services market that includes Apple's Find My network and Google's Family Link.

She added that in Q3, the company is furthering its commitment to serve all life stages—from pet parents to kids and aging adults—reinforcing its position as a platform that makes everyday family life better.

CFO Russell Burke reported that quarterly revenue grew 38% year-over-year to US$159 million, while annualised monthly revenue reached US$537.2 million, up 29% year-over-year, supported by robust subscription growth globally.

"Advertising revenue reached a record US$22 million in the quarter as the Life360 Advertising Platform continues to gain momentum post integration," Burke said. "We ended Q2'26 with US$467.7 million in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, and short-term investments, and we generated operating cash flows of $23.8 million, up 79% year-over-year."

The advertising platform represents Life360's broader push to diversify beyond its core subscription model, leveraging a highly engaged user base to capture digital ad revenue—a strategy increasingly adopted by consumer app companies seeking to monetize free-tier users. With advertising now contributing roughly 14% of quarterly revenue, the segment's growth trajectory will be a key metric to watch as it enters the seasonally stronger second half.

The company forecasts that revenue growth will accelerate in the second half of 2026. Continued strength in its core subscription business, combined with the advertising platform entering its strongest seasonal window, is expected to drive total revenue growth.

"We will continue to invest in strategic initiatives including international expansion, advertising platform scaling, our AI labs and product innovation, while remaining committed to balancing growth investment with margin expansion," Burke said.

Ahead of market open, Life360 shares were steady at $29.48, with a market capitalisation of $7.169 billion.
