Infinix will debut its GT 50 Pro gaming smartphone in Nigeria on September 12, alongside some of the country’s leading PUBG MOBILE players at the PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) Nigeria Finals.

The launch will spotlight the phone’s HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, which Infinix describes as the largest cooling system in the history of the GT Series. The system combines a dual-piezoelectric ceramic micro-pump with precision cooling channels to help move heat away from critical components during demanding gaming sessions.

The PMNC Nigeria Fall 2026 Finals are scheduled for September 12–13, with 16 teams competing across 12 matches over two days. Nigeria’s PMNC is also part of the broader PUBG MOBILE competitive pathway, with the country listed among those participating in the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Open qualification structure.

Infinix has positioned the GT 50 Pro as the Official Gaming Partner of the 2026 PMNC Nigeria Season 2. The partnership places the smartphone in an esports environment where competitive players will test the demands of sustained gaming performance.

Cooling system designed for extended gaming

The GT 50 Pro’s cooling architecture is built to help maintain consistent performance as gaming workloads increase. Its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system circulates coolant through precision laser-engraved channels using a dual-piezoelectric ceramic micro-pump, with a flow rate of up to 6.5ml per minute.

The system includes a 6,437mm² diaphragm area designed to cover the device’s critical heat sources. Instead of depending solely on passive heat dissipation, the active cooling system continuously helps move heat away from high-temperature areas during extended workloads.

That approach is particularly relevant to competitive gaming, where matches can continue through prolonged periods of intensive smartphone use.
