inCruises unveiled two new travel categories at its first-ever THE Global Convention, held this weekend in Belgrade, Serbia, marking a significant expansion of the subscription-based travel club's product range.
The company introduced inTrips, a line of curated multi-day land-based vacations, and added river cruises through partnerships with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises. Together, the additions represent the broadest product portfolio in inCruises history since its founding in 2016, giving members more ways to use accumulated Membership Reward Points and access a wider variety of travel experiences.
inTrips applies the savings principles that made inCruises popular for ocean travel to expertly planned land vacations. Travel experts research each destination and its surrounding region, then assemble accommodations, transfers, transportation, sightseeing, tours, excursions, attractions, and free time into a single itinerary. Bundled multi-day land itineraries have long been the core offering of traditional tour operators, and inTrips brings that format inside the inCruises subscription model for the first time.
The category will launch in the United Arab Emirates, beginning with Dubai, historically inCruises' most popular destination. Dubai consistently ranks among the world's most-visited cities, giving the new category a high-visibility launch market. Initial offerings include 5- and 7-day vacations, a Dubai-only option, a combined Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah itinerary, Dubai Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing with Burj Khalifa admission, desert dinner safari experiences, and Abu Dhabi city tours on select 7-day itineraries. The first inTrips are expected to become available in late 2026, with additional destinations planned as the category expands.
Members can reduce vacation costs in two ways under the new category: INsider Pricing, which takes 17% off the retail price of the complete inTrip, and Reward Points, which can be applied at ratios similar to eligible cruises, covering up to 50% of qualifying bookings, with opportunities for up to 100% through All Reward Points and qualifying Elite Travel Advantages.
“We wanted Reward Points to feel useful year-round, not just when someone is booking a cruise. inTrips makes that possible by putting points to work toward a complete vacation experience,” said Anthony Varvaro, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Finance Officer at inCruises.
The river cruise expansion targets a different style of travel, built around smaller ships, intimate water, and immersive access to inland destinations and cultures that ocean cruising does not reach. Through the partnerships with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises, members can access waterways and destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, including the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Rhône, Douro, Mekong, Nile, Chobe, and Magdalena. Both AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises are established specialist operators in river cruising, so the expansion draws on existing fleets and itineraries rather than inCruises-operated vessels.
“River cruising opens a completely different relationship with a destination. Instead of simply arriving at a port, travelers can experience the heart of a region as they journey along its rivers,” said Tatiana Wegzyn, Commercial Partnerships Manager at inCruises.
With these launches, inCruises now offers ocean cruises, river cruises, inStays for hotels and resorts, inTours for individual tours and activities, and inTrips for curated land vacations. Since launching in 2016, the company has booked more than 770,000 guests and provides access to nearly 200,000 cruise, hotel, and resort options worldwide through a platform available in 17 languages. inCruises also supports Mercy Ships and other humanitarian initiatives. With the first inTrips due in late 2026 and additional destinations planned, the pace of the land category's rollout — and the range of river itineraries the two partnerships make available — will show how the expanded portfolio takes shape.
