Hedera's native token HBAR has rallied 14% over the past week, driven by the network's aggressive push into real-world asset (RWA) tokenization alongside renewed momentum for U.S. crypto legislation.
According to Santiment data, Hedera Hashgraph currently leads in RWA tokenization development with a 96.9% score. Only Chainlink, Avalanche, and Stellar appear to rival Hedera in RWA-related development activity. However, Hedera's score dwarfs those of Stellar and Avalanche by nearly 2x, underscoring the chain's focus on what has become one of the most prominent narratives in the cryptocurrency market. RWA tokenization—representing traditional assets such as bonds, equities, and funds on blockchain infrastructure—has gained institutional traction, with firms including BlackRock and Franklin Templeton launching tokenized funds on public chains.
The development score follows a series of recent partnership announcements. In June, Archax unveiled plans to advance tokenized securities on Hedera through real-time streaming of cash flows. At the time, Gregg Bell, CIO at Hedera, described the update as an "efficiency" upgrade, stating:
By enabling cash flows to move seamlessly with tokenised securities, we're bringing greater efficiency, transparency, and precision to capital markets.
Earlier this month, Asseto, a tokenization infrastructure builder, joined the Hedera network. Utila, an institutional stablecoin platform, also joined Hedera to provide custody and wallet platform services. These additions build on Hedera's enterprise-focused positioning, with the network governed by a council that has included major corporations such as Google, IBM, and Boeing.
The combination of growing RWA interest and this week's renewed progress on the CLARITY Act, a proposed U.S. crypto bill, helped lift the HBAR token price, contributing to the 14% weekly recovery.
Price Structure and Key Technical Levels
On the daily price chart, the market structure had not yet flipped bullish despite the double-digit rally. An extended uptrend could be confirmed with a decisive daily candlestick close above the 50-day Moving Average (MA, white line) and the $0.076 level.
If that scenario plays out, the next upside target would be the 200-day MA (blue line) at $0.09, representing approximately 18% upside potential from current levels.
Conversely, a rejection at the 50-day MA would reinforce short sellers' dominance and invalidate the bullish outlook. In that case, a pullback to July support around $0.065 could not be ruled out.
According to CryptoQuant, current price levels below the 50-day MA have attracted significant whale interest, as indicated by green bubble maps highlighting large whale orders.
Hedera's extended recovery could also be influenced by further progress on the CLARITY Act and broader market conditions, including Bitcoin's recent relief bounce.
