South Korean construction management firm HanmiGlobal said Wednesday that it ranked sixth in Engineering News-Record's latest survey of the world's leading construction and project management (CM/PM) firms — the highest position ever achieved by a Korean company.

The annual ENR rankings, published by the long-running US construction industry trade publication, cover major sectors of the global construction industry and are based on companies' revenue from the previous year. Unlike ENR's rankings of general contractors, which measure firms by the value of construction work they perform, the CM/PM table ranks firms by the revenue they earn from management services — overseeing scheduling, cost control and quality on behalf of project owners rather than carrying out the construction themselves.

HanmiGlobal posted $255.8 million in construction management and project management revenue in 2025. Its overseas revenue reached $139.4 million, placing the company ninth globally in that category and accounting for more than half of its CM/PM total.

The firm first entered the global top 10 in the CM/PM sector in 2019 and has remained there ever since. Since introducing professional project management services to Korea in 1996, HanmiGlobal has completed more than 3,300 projects across 66 countries. South Korean builders have long featured among the world's largest contractors in ENR's global rankings, but the upper reaches of the management-services table have traditionally been occupied by large US and European firms.

The company has recently broadened its overseas footprint, particularly in the United States, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. This year, it secured a $400 million maintenance contract from the US National Park Service.

"Achieving our highest-ever position in the ENR global rankings during our 30th anniversary year is particularly meaningful," a HanmiGlobal official said. "We aim to expand our overseas business and enter the global top five."
