The Government of Singapore (GoS) remains a major participant in India’s equity market and is consistently among the leading foreign institutional investors (FIIs) by portfolio value. According to the latest shareholding disclosures for the June 2026 quarter, the GoS held investments in 39 Indian listed companies, with a combined market value of about Rs 1,51,353 crore as of July 24, 2026.
That value was down nearly 25% from Rs 1,99,504 crore in December 2025. Portfolio values based on shareholding disclosures are a point-in-time snapshot and can change with stock prices, disclosed stake levels and fresh quarterly filings. In terms of stock performance, around 20 companies in the portfolio have delivered positive returns so far in CY26, while nearly half have recorded negative returns.
