New feature provides access to USDT and USDC while eligible digital miners continue earning Bitcoin

GoMining is rolling out Instant Funds to its entire user base in supported markets, giving eligible digital miner holders access to stablecoin liquidity without selling their miners. The feature, which had previously been available in closed mode, allows users to use eligible NFT miners as collateral to access USDT or USDC while continuing to receive Bitcoin mining rewards during an active position.

Borrowing stablecoins against digital-asset collateral is an established practice in crypto lending markets. GoMining's version applies that model to a distinctive collateral type: NFT miners that, according to the company, represent tokenized hashrate backed by real hardware in data centers and generate ongoing Bitcoin rewards for their holders.

Users can lock an eligible NFT Bitcoin miner as collateral and receive funds directly in their GoMining balance. Instant Funds positions carry a 30-day term with 0% APR and mandatory automatic renewal. An origination fee of 1.5% to 2.5%, depending on the user’s VIP level, is charged when the position is opened and at each 30-day renewal. Because renewal is mandatory and the fee applies at every cycle, the cost of a long-held position accrues per renewal rather than as ongoing interest.

Users can access up to 30% of a miner’s collateral value, with funding starting at $5. The total amount available through Instant Funds is capped at $10,000 per user, and there is no limit on the number of individual positions within that aggregate cap.

While a position remains active and stays below the liquidation threshold, the collateralized digital miner continues mining Bitcoin, with rewards accruing to the holder. If a position reaches the 60% loan-to-value (LTV) liquidation threshold, it enters a seven-day buyback period. Mining rewards generated from the moment the position enters buyback, throughout the buyback period, and during any subsequent time on auction are forfeited and are not returned to the user. Loan-to-value thresholds are a standard risk mechanism in collateralized lending, where positions are closed out if the collateral’s value falls too far relative to the amount borrowed.

At launch, Instant Funds is available for miners with energy efficiency of 12 watts per terahash (W/TH) or better. Energy efficiency is a central cost variable in Bitcoin mining, since lower watts per terahash means less electricity consumed per unit of hashing power, and the 12 W/TH cutoff initially restricts eligibility to the more efficient miners on the platform. Eligible miners must be held in the user’s platform wallet, cannot be listed on GoMining’s secondary marketplace, and cannot have an active Mine Now, Pay Later (MNPL) plan or an overdue auto-upgrade subscription.

GoMining said it plans to raise the eligibility threshold over time and expand Instant Funds to additional miners. The current rollout is described as the first stage of broader availability.

KYC Level 1 verification is required to access the feature. Eligible users in the European Economic Area (EEA) who have completed the required KYC verification can access funds in USDC. Region-specific availability and identity-verification gating are common practices for crypto financial products.

Instant Funds is now available through the GoMining app in supported markets. Users can select an eligible digital miner to review the applicable terms and access funds while it continues earning Bitcoin during an active position.
