Goldman Sachs has reclaimed its position as the largest disclosed institutional holder of XRP exchange-traded funds. The bank's Q2 2026 disclosure, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), shows $86.5 million in exposure spread across five XRP-linked products.
The disclosure arrived in a Form 13F, the quarterly report that institutional investment managers with more than $100 million in qualifying assets must file within 45 days of quarter-end. Because 13Fs list long positions as of the quarter's final trading day and do not separate proprietary holdings from positions kept for clients or market-making activity, the filings rank the largest disclosed holders rather than every large investor in a fund.
The Wall Street giant had completely exited these funds in the previous quarter. Its return to XRP ETFs in the latest reporting period restores Goldman Sachs as the largest disclosed institutional holder of the products. The latest portfolio includes products from Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Canary Capital, 21Shares, and Grayscale, and Goldman reported a higher share count in several of those funds.
How Large Is Goldman Sachs' XRP ETF Portfolio?
Goldman's largest holding was 2,238,407 shares in Franklin Templeton's XRPZ. The bank also held 2,208,949 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF, and listed 1,759,090 shares in Canary's XRPC and 806,126 shares in TOXR. It further disclosed 377,619 shares of Grayscale's GXRP fund. Together, those five positions account for the $86.5 million in disclosed XRP-linked exposure.
Goldman's earlier XRP ETF holdings were valued at about $152 million before the full exit, meaning the latest quarterly filing shows a smaller total position after the company returned to the funds.
The same quarterly report also discloses 365,976 XRPN shares in Armada Acquisition Corporation II, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a blank-check vehicle that takes private businesses public through a merger. Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings plans to merge with the SPAC and list on Nasdaq, and recently confirmed that the proposed transaction has moved closer to completion. Goldman disclosed the XRPN position alongside its fund stakes in the same filing.

Broader Institutional Participation in XRP ETFs
JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America also disclosed XRP ETF positions for the second quarter, and the filings show broader participation by major traditional finance companies. The announcements were made as the financial institutions increased activities in tokenization and digital treasury management, while companies continued creating systems for real-time cross-border transactions.
The next round of 13F filings, covering the third quarter, is due by mid-November and will provide the next official snapshot of where these banks' XRP ETF exposure stands.
XRP ETF Market Flows

Total assets under management hit $1.17 billion following the latest net inflows, and total net investment within the products also crossed $1.53 billion.
XRP Price Context
XRP is trading near $1.37 as of writing, following its surge above 16% in the past 24 hours. According to CoinMarketCap, weekly gains stood at 38%, as the overall crypto market started recovering. The daily trading volume increased by 113.47% over the past 24 hours, a spike that indicated stronger activity as the cryptocurrency moved sharply higher during the week.
The price action came amid renewed talks regarding crypto policy in the United States, where Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, joined other industry leaders for Clarity Act talks at the White House — discussions centered on legislation that would clarify how oversight of digital assets is divided between the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
