GhostDraft, a provider of document management technology built for the insurance industry, announced that a prominent U.S. life insurance carrier has selected GhostDraft Originate as its new platform for document creation and management.
The selection is part of the carrier’s effort to modernize and centralize its document lifecycle. Before choosing GhostDraft, the carrier’s internal teams managed a complex document library spread across multiple systems. The environment made it difficult to locate approved language, research historical forms, maintain version control, and coordinate reviews across Product, Compliance, and Legal teams.
According to the announcement, the carrier’s previous review process was disjointed and slow. The fragmented approach delayed document development and increased the work required to support consistency and compliance across insurance forms and related documents. For life insurers, policy forms, disclosures, correspondence, and other customer-facing materials often require careful review because wording, version history, and approved language can affect regulatory filings, operational consistency, and customer communications. The need for a unified, purpose-built platform to bring order and efficiency to that environment was a major factor in the decision to migrate to a modern system.
GhostDraft said Originate is designed to address those issues through a centralized forms and document repository, AI search and research capabilities, configurable review and approval workflows, and a single source of truth for document assets. The platform is intended to help teams quickly locate approved language, compare versions, reuse existing content, and collaborate during drafting while maintaining governance and auditability.
The company also said GhostDraft Originate supports the collaborative, multi-stage review processes used by the carrier’s product and compliance teams through centralized document management and workflow capabilities. That focus reflects a broader operational priority among insurers: replacing siloed document tools with systems that can support traceable approvals and reusable content across product, legal, compliance, and business teams.
“By modernizing their document management with GhostDraft Originate, insurance teams can create, review, and approve insurance forms and documents with the speed, efficiency, and accuracy needed to excel in customer communications,” said Ed Beach, VP of Sales at GhostDraft.
