GeekyAnts will return to Mumbai for Global FinTech Fest (GFF) 2026 as a Bronze Partner and exhibitor, joining financial institutions, regulators, technology companies and startups in examining how the next generation of financial systems will work in practice. Organised by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the Payments Council of India (PCI) and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC), GFF has grown into one of the largest fintech gatherings anywhere, which is part of why its agenda tends to reflect where the industry's attention is heading.
Global FinTech Fest 2026 runs from September 8 to 11 at the Jio World Centre and Trident BKC in Mumbai, with the exhibition open from September 9 to 11. GeekyAnts will be located at Booth JE16.
This year's theme, "Potential to Impact: Trusted, Connected, Global Systems for Inclusive Finance," is built around three technologies: Agentic AI, tokenisation and quantum. GFF positions them as parts of an emerging financial stack in which software can coordinate workflows, assets can move through programmable infrastructure, and financial institutions must prepare for changes in computation and security.
The discussion is no longer limited to what these technologies can demonstrate. Banks, payment companies, insurers and fintech teams now have to decide where they belong inside systems that already carry money, identities, customer data and regulatory obligations.
What GeekyAnts Is Bringing to GFF 2026
At Booth JE16, GeekyAnts plans to focus its conversations on AI in financial workflows, payments, digital banking, system modernisation and the engineering work required to move these ideas into production. The company is known in the developer ecosystem for open-source tools such as NativeBase and Gluestack, and that engineering depth shapes the questions it brings to enterprise financial work.
Agentic AI makes that discussion more concrete. An agent may be able to coordinate steps in a financial workflow, monitor changing information or trigger actions across systems. In financial services, however, autonomy also raises questions about permissions, auditability, failure handling and the point at which a person must intervene.
That is close to the issue GeekyAnts raised at GFF 2025. During last year's event, Kunal Kumar, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at GeekyAnts, spoke about enterprises wanting to use AI while remaining concerned about downtime, governance and how new AI tools would fit into established technology. His view was that legacy modernisation itself was not new; the more important question was how AI could be introduced without weakening the architecture and controls already supporting the business.
A year later, the GFF agenda has moved directly into that territory. Its 2026 tracks include autonomous and data-driven banking, core modernisation, AI-enabled advisory, agentic AI for compliance, real-time risk monitoring, responsible AI, data governance and quantum-safe security.
For GeekyAnts, an AI-powered digital product engineering and consulting company, that creates room for discussions beyond isolated AI demos. A payments workflow may need AI, but it also needs APIs, identity controls, transaction systems and recovery paths. A digital bank may introduce agents, but those agents still have to operate within customer permissions, risk rules and existing core systems.
From Technology Potential to Financial Infrastructure
The scale of GFF puts those questions in front of both technology builders and the institutions that set the rules around them. The announced 2026 speaker list includes Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra, SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey, IFSCA Chairperson Kalyanaraman Rajaraman and BIS General Manager Pablo Hernández de Cos. The presence of India's top financial policymakers alongside global standard-setters such as the BIS signals that the themes on the agenda, from agentic AI to quantum-safe security, are being weighed at a regulatory level and not only among vendors.
GeekyAnts' presence at the event will center on the movement from possibility to implementation: how financial products are designed, how older systems are modernised, how AI is connected to operational workflows, and what engineering decisions are needed before a new capability handles production traffic.
Tokenization, for example, can make ownership divisible and assets programmable, but financial institutions still have to resolve custody, identity, settlement, interoperability and regulatory responsibilities. Quantum computing opens new possibilities for optimisation while also forcing security teams to consider how cryptography must change as computing capabilities develop. GFF's 2026 program reflects both sides of that equation: what becomes possible and what institutions must protect.
Attendees can meet the GeekyAnts team at Booth JE16 to discuss fintech, AI, payments, digital banking and modernisation, or connect with the team before the event to schedule a conversation.
