Fujifilm Philippines Projects Double-Digit Growth in 2026 on Travel Rebound and Youth Demand

Fujifilm Philippines, Inc. said it is on track to post double-digit growth in 2026, buoyed by the sustained appeal of its products among younger consumers and a rebound in travel, as the Japanese brand moves to widen its local footprint and enter the business-to-business (B2B) market through a partnership with a leading technology distributor.

"We are very positive with the growth of our business for 2026," Glenn Michael Gatan, marketing manager for the imaging solutions division of Fujifilm Philippines, Inc., told reporters on Wednesday during the second day of the VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2026.

Mr. Gatan said the company expects to achieve double-digit growth in 2026 compared with the previous year, with its popular mirrorless cameras — including the Fujifilm X-M5, X-T30 III, and X100VI — among its bestsellers.

He attributed the momentum to the recovery in travel, younger consumers' continued interest in its products, particularly analog cameras, and word-of-mouth recommendations on social media. The outlook reflects a broader resurgence of analog-style photography among younger buyers, a trend amplified by social media, where film-inspired images have gained wide visibility.

"When people start traveling, they want a camera, they purchase a camera," he said.

Growth could receive an additional boost from the company's partnership with VST ECS Phils., Inc., one of the country's leading distributors of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, forged in October. The tie-up marks the imaging brand's entry into the local B2B market, a channel in which ICT distributors typically serve as the bridge between global technology brands and corporate clients. Mr. Gatan described the tie-up as a strategic move to extend Fujifilm's presence beyond Metro Manila and tap VST ECS's network of business clients and partners.

"We really know that they have a very strong retail network, dealership networks, not just in Metro Manila but also in the Philippines and elsewhere," he said. "So, we know they can help us in our regional expansion."

Fujifilm is looking to bring its products to retailers partnered with VST ECS in Cebu and Davao, he added. The partnership could also open opportunities for collaborations with other companies through product listings, rewards programs, and giveaway packages.

Despite its push into new markets, Fujifilm intends to maintain its strong position in the consumer segment by introducing more products, services, and activities next year. How quickly the Cebu and Davao rollout takes shape, and which new products and services arrive, will offer a gauge of the company's progress on both the regional and consumer fronts.
