FMSI Adds Pulse AI Analytics and Surveys to RelationshipOS for Banks and Credit Unions

Author: Globalfintechseries·

Key Takeaways

  • •FMSI has introduced Pulse, an AI analytics module, and Surveys, a post-visit feedback tool, as premium add-ons to its RelationshipOS platform for banks and credit unions.
  • •Pulse enables users to ask plain-language questions about branch operations and receive charted answers in seconds, running on the data and permissions institutions already maintain in FMSI with no new setup required.
  • •The launch responds to a workflow issue reported by FMSI clients, for whom answering one operational question typically meant pulling four to six reports and comparing figures manually, and it follows a July beta program with VyStar Credit Union.
  • •Surveys gathers member ratings shortly after each visit and links every response to the specific visit, branch, and staff member, helping managers identify coaching opportunities and follow up on poor experiences while still timely.
  • •As both modules are premium add-ons rather than core platform features, the extent of RelationshipOS's single-login consolidation will depend on how many institutions choose to purchase them.
FMSI Adds Pulse AI Analytics and Surveys to RelationshipOS for Banks and Credit Unions

FMSI, a provider of branch performance and workforce management software for banks and credit unions, has announced two premium add-ons for RelationshipOS, its platform that brings all of the company's tools together under a single login. The additions — Pulse, an AI analytics module, and Surveys, a post-visit feedback tool — are aimed at branch managers, operations leaders, and executives.

Pulse enables users to ask questions about their branches in plain language and receive answers in seconds. The module operates on the data and user permissions an institution already has in place within FMSI, so there is nothing new to set up. Example queries include identifying which staff members are most productive, where wait times are slipping, or what is driving walk-aways. Each answer arrives with a chart, and users can save the views they rely on most to My Boards to share with their teams. Pulse also includes ready-made scorecards covering branches, staff, products, lobby traffic, and cross-sell performance.

The launch addresses a workflow pain point long reported by FMSI clients, who have said that answering a single operational question often meant pulling four to six reports and comparing the figures by hand. Pulse follows a beta program that FMSI announced in July with VyStar Credit Union.

“Branch leaders have never been short on data, but getting a straight answer from it usually meant waiting on a report or building one yourself,” said Jacob Reeves, General Manager, FMSI. “Now a chief retail officer can ask which branch is busiest this week, see the answer right away, and pin it to a board to check every morning. Surveys adds the member's side of the story by connecting how each visit felt to the branch and the person who handled it.”

Surveys asks members and customers to rate their visit and the service they received shortly after it happens. Each response is linked to the visit itself, along with the branch and staff member behind it, so managers can see what to recognize, where to coach, and how consistent service is across locations — and follow up on a poor experience while it is still fresh. Because feedback is captured immediately after each interaction, the tool gives managers a direct read on service quality at the individual branch level.

“Too often, a credit union finds out a branch visit went badly when it shows up as a review online,” said Sean O'Neill, Head of Growth, FMSI. “Surveys gives them the chance to hear it from the member first, while there's still time to make it right.”

With the two modules, RelationshipOS consolidates FMSI's branch performance and workforce management tools, conversational AI analytics, and post-visit member feedback within one login, extending the platform the company provides to banks and credit unions. Because both modules are premium add-ons rather than core platform features, how far the single-login model reaches will come down to how many institutions opt to add them.
