Panama City, Panama, July 27, 2026 — Chainwire
EMCD, a global crypto-fintech platform and one of the world’s largest Bitcoin mining pools, has launched its Miner Support Program, offering eligible miners access to up to $30 million* in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.
The company introduced the program as Bitcoin miners face one of the industry’s sharpest profitability squeezes. Bitcoin’s hashprice, a key measure of mining revenue per unit of computing power, has fallen to about $28/PH/day. According to CoinShares Q1 2026 data, that marks a 50% decline from its October 2025 peak and an all-time post-halving low.
An estimated 252 EH/s has been taken offline, according to Hashrate Index data cited by CoinCentral in April 2026, as operators using older-generation hardware found margins no longer sustainable. The network has also recorded three consecutive negative difficulty adjustments, the first such streak since July 2022, reflecting broad pressure across the mining sector. Bitcoin mining difficulty adjusts roughly every 2,016 blocks to keep block production near its target pace, so repeated downward adjustments indicate that a meaningful amount of computing power has left the network.
EMCD, which has operated its mining pool since 2017 and processed more than 4,550 BTC mined by its users in 2025, described the current environment as both a stress test and a structural opportunity for operators that remain active.
Program Structure
EMCD said the Miner Support Program is designed as a practical response to tightening margins across the industry. The package includes restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to the company’s liquidity and yield products. EMCD said the toolkit is built around the operating model of mining businesses and is available to operators in any region.
Miners experiencing cash flow pressure can access EMCD’s secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR to help cover operating expenses without selling assets into a down market. The company said its products differ from generic crypto-backed credit lines because they are structured around mining-specific cash flow cycles and are bundled with other parts of the program. EMCD said the effective cost of capital can be reduced further when fee relief and hardware savings are included, rather than being assessed by the rate alone.
Participants seeking to protect margins on each block can apply for zero pool commission for 60 days, lowering overhead while hashprice remains depressed. Miners using older or underperforming hardware may also access preferential pricing on Vnish firmware, described by EMCD as the market’s leading third-party ASIC optimization software.
Operators planning to expand or relocate capacity can receive special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD’s partner network. For mining businesses, access to power, hosting, firmware efficiency, pool fees, and working capital can all affect whether machines remain online during periods of compressed revenue.
Partner Participation
EMCD is inviting hardware manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers to participate in the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners. Partner applications can be submitted at
“We’ve been through every cycle in this industry since 2017 — the rallies, the winters, the halvings. What we’ve learned is that the operators who survive aren’t the ones who wait out the downturns. They’re the ones who use them. This program is our commitment to making sure our miners have the tools to do exactly that.” — Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO, EMCD.
*The stated amount reflects the maximum aggregate value of support, including financing, fee reductions, and partner offers, that may be made available under the program and does not constitute a reserved fund.
