Dogecoin Holds $0.09 Support as Spot DOGE ETF Inflows Hit Record
Key Takeaways
- •Dogecoin traded near $0.094 on Sept. 29 after recovering approximately 35% from its mid-August levels, though it remains below the $0.10 threshold after several failed breakout attempts.
- •U.S. spot Dogecoin ETFs recorded $2.89 million in net inflows last week, their strongest weekly performance since launch and their best weekly total of 2026, surpassing the previous record of $2.59 million set in January 2026.
- •Analyst CW identified $0.09 as a key support level and $0.10 as the Point of Control and strongest resistance, making the $0.09–$0.092 zone the focal point for traders assessing whether the recovery can extend.
- •Trader Tardigrade said Dogecoin's hourly RSI has entered oversold territory four times in a row, and the token has historically returned to an uptrend after each bounce from oversold conditions.
- •Tardigrade also placed DOGE within a monthly accumulation zone that has appeared only a few times, citing parallels with 2015–2017, 2019–2020, and 2022–2023, and expects a similar consolidation-then-higher pattern to repeat in 2026.

Dogecoin (DOGE) traded near $0.094 on Sept. 29 after recovering roughly 35% from its mid-August levels, while U.S. spot Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their strongest weekly netows since launch, according to The Market Periodical.
The token remains below the $0.10 area after several recent attempts to establish a breakout above that threshold. Coming off the recent pullback, technical analysts have identified the $0.09–$0.092 range as important support, with $0.10 standing out as the key resistance level to watch.
Dogecoin Price Needs to Defend $0.09 for Further Upside
Dogecoin has once again found itself in the limelight, with its price action holding up against broader market volatility. Market commentators believe DOGE is currently in a strong accumulation zone, similar to setups observed in its previous bull-run cycles.
Crypto analyst CW identified $0.09 as a key support level for Dogecoin, noting in a post on X that the uptrend can remain intact as long as DOGE bulls defend that support. He also highlighted $0.10 as the Point of Control — the price level where the most trading volume has changed hands — describing it as the strongest resistance level currently facing the token. The zone between $0.09 and $0.092 has since become the focal point for traders assessing whether the recent recovery can extend.
Another widely followed analyst, Trader Tardigrade, shared a similar view. In a post on X, he noted that DOGE continues to hold above its recent support zone near $0.092 on the hourly chart. The level has been tested multiple times, but the price has continued to defend it. According to Tardigrade, the support structure remains valid unless DOGE breaks below the zone decisively and fails to reclaim it.
Hourly RSI and Multi-Year Accumulation Zone in Focus
In a separate post on X, Tardigrade said Dogecoin's hourly relative strength index (RSI), a momentum gauge used to flag unusually stretched selling conditions, has entered the oversold zone four times in a row. He pointed out that DOGE has always returned to an uptrend after the RSI bounced from oversold territory, a pattern he said played out in each of the previous three instances.
Tardigrade also said DOGE is currently trading within a monthly accumulation zone that has appeared only once every few years. Previous periods in this zone — 2015–2017, 2019–2020, and 2022–2023 — were marked by price consolidation, low RSI readings, and waning market attention before DOGE moved higher, he said. On that basis, he expects a similar pattern to repeat in 2026.
Spot DOGE ETF Inflows Set Weekly Record
U.S. spot Dogecoin ETFs attracted $2.89 million in net inflows last week, marking their strongest weekly performance since launch and their strongest weekly total of 2026. The figure surpassed the previous record of $2.59 million set in January 2026. Total holdings across the funds now stand at approximately $17.03 million.
Spot ETFs hold the underlying token directly and can be traded through standard brokerage accounts, so net inflows — purchases of fund shares outpacing redemptions — offer a flow-based reading of demand that sits alongside the technical levels traders are watching.
Analysts said the focus remains on whether the $0.09–$0.092 support zone continues to hold in upcoming sessions; subsequent weekly ETF flow reports will add a second read on whether demand for DOGE exposure persists.
