DMCI Homes Tops Off Five Buildings at Solmera Coast Estate Ahead of 2027 Opening

DMCI Homes, the property developer led by the Consunji family and known for residential condominium projects in Metro Manila, has topped off all five buildings at its Solmera Beach Park Resort in San Juan, Batangas, ahead of the project's planned opening in February 2027.

The construction milestone marks the completion of the structural frameworks of the Matahari, Kartika, Bumi, Asri, and Nusa buildings, which form part of the 7.5-hectare Solmera Coast estate, the company said in a statement posted on its website. San Juan is a coastal municipality in Batangas, a province south of Metro Manila known for its beaches and resorts.

Under the developer's turnover schedule, the Matahari building is targeted for occupancy in February 2027, to be followed by Kartika in May and Bumi in August of the same year.

Operations at the resort will be handled by DMCI Hospitality and Leisure, Inc. (DMCI Resorts). The property is designed to accommodate meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), along with other events. Planned facilities include an 811-square-meter (sq.m.) main function hall with a 419-sq.m. veranda, roof deck event spaces at the Kartika and Bumi buildings, and a pool complex at the Matahari building.

Solmera Beach Park Resort will offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 31 sq.m. to 92 sq.m., with prices spanning P6.75 million to P20.41 million, based on information posted on the DMCI Homes website.

The development includes condominium-hotel units that may be placed under a rental program managed by DMCI Resorts, while the Asri building will offer residential units, according to the company.

Solmera Coast serves as the flagship project of DMCI Homes Leisure Residences, the developer's leisure property brand.

In a separate announcement in August, DMCI Homes said it was preparing to develop a socialized housing project in Cavite, with an initial phase comprising approximately 4,000 units. Socialized housing in the Philippines refers to housing developed for lower-income segments, with prices set within government-regulated ceilings. The planned development include units measuring roughly 20 to 27 sq.m., with the 27-sq.m. units targeted to be priced at P1.8 million.

At the local bourse on Monday, shares in parent company DMCI Holdings, Inc. — the Consunji-led listed conglomerate with construction, mining, and power interests — slipped by one centavo, or 0.14%, to close at P7.27 apiece. — Juliana Chloe A. Gonzales
