In this year's highly competitive field, DLI received the Best Boutique Developer award for the second consecutive year and the third time since 2020. The Best Investment Condo Development award recognizes the condotel's strategic location, strong rental yield, capital appreciation, and robust property management services that make it appealing to investors. The Best Beachfront Condotel Architectural Design award highlights the property's coastal design, durable climate-resilient infrastructure, and efficient hospitality layouts that maximize oceanfront views.

Scheduled for completion in 2028, TRYP by Wyndham Samal is a contemporary island hotel inspired by the architecture of the iconic Bahay na Bato. Reinterpreting its stone foundations, warm timber elements, and expansive rooflines, the development combines heritage-inspired design with modern tropical hospitality, creating a destination that is both enduring in character and connected to its local setting.

The project marks the arrival of the first global hotel brand in the Island Garden City of Samal. The entry of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's leading hospitality groups, signals international confidence in Samal Island's investment potential and its standing as a global tourist destination. Samal, a short ferry ride from Davao City, has been positioned by local government as an island eco-tourism destination, and the entry of an international hospitality brand adds a new dimension to that push. With construction already underway, TRYP by Wyndham Samal has sold 70% of its units, which the company cites as evidence of strong market demand and investor appeal.
