Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Dominates Clear Creek Financial Management’s $15 Million Crypto Holdings

Bitcoin ETF holdings worth about $10.42 million dominated Clear Creek Financial Management’s disclosed crypto allocation at the end of the reporting period, according to the firm’s latest Form 13F. The registered adviser spread its investments across products issued by Bitwise, BlackRock, and Grayscale, offering a snapshot of how some traditional managers are using regulated exchange-traded products to gain digital-asset exposure.

Bitwise’s fund formed the core of the allocation. Clear Creek disclosed 304,155 BITB shares with a reported value of $9.69 million. The position represented about 93% of its Bitcoin ETF exposure.

Bitcoin ETF Leads Clear Creek’s $15 Million Crypto Portfolio

The remaining Bitcoin ETF exposure was split between two funds. Clear Creek owned 14,341 shares of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, valued at $477,412. Its 5,460 Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF shares were valued at $248,539.

Securities reported in the filing had a combined value of about $1.56 billion. The three Bitcoin ETF positions represented roughly 0.67% of that total. Form 13F does not cover every asset managed by the firm, so the filing shows only part of Clear Creek’s broader portfolio.

Ethereum products ranked second among Clear Creek’s disclosed crypto holdings. The firm’s three Ethereum-related positions were worth nearly $4.3 million at the end of the period, with most of that value coming from Bitwise’s fund.

Clear Creek listed 337,162 shares of the Bitwise Ethereum ETF, valued at $3.8 million. It also held 14,336 shares of iShares Ethereum Trust worth $170,455.

Another 21,374 shares were held through the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF. The filing valued that position at $321,251. The Grayscale holding was smaller than the Bitwise position.

Clear Creek also extended its allocation beyond the two largest crypto assets. The adviser disclosed 11,621 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF, with a reported value of $135,501.

Its Solana exposure was split across two staking funds. The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF position included 11,258 shares worth $112,693. Clear Creek also owned 28,144 Grayscale Solana Staking ETF shares valued at $155,636.

The Solana investments were worth $268,329 combined. All nine crypto funds linked to Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana were valued at about $15.12 million, based on the amounts contained in the filing.

Why the Filing Has Limits

The form provides a backward-looking snapshot. Short positions, cash, and other securities not covered by the filing are omitted. Clear Creek may have added to, sold, or exited these positions after the reporting date.

The filing does not explain why the firm included each specific fund. It captures the number of shares, the issuer, and the market value of the reported holdings, but that information alone is not enough to fully gauge the cryptocurrency allocation of the fund manager.

Separately, Morgan Stanley expanded its crypto lineup on July 28. It launched exchange-traded products tied to ether and SOL. Both products charge a 0.14% expense ratio and include staking provisions, underscoring that the market for these products is still developing across major asset managers.

The article also noted that the filing references a SEC Form 13F infotable and other related sources. This filing is a disclosure document, not a complete record of all assets managed by the adviser.
