Casino Plus has established a P1-billion surety bond program covering qualified player funds as the online gaming platform expands its presence in the regulated digital gaming market.
The Philippine digital gaming sector has drawn heightened attention as PAGCOR, the state regulator that both licenses and oversees gaming operators, continues to tighten compliance standards across licensed online platforms. Player fund protection mechanisms such as surety bonds remain relatively uncommon in the broader Southeast Asian online gaming industry, where regulatory frameworks vary widely between jurisdictions.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the company said its PhilFirst Surety Bond Protection Program — launched in December 2025 — was subsequently followed by the processing of more than P1 billion in validated jackpot payouts during the second quarter of 2026.
The company also rolled out the Winsday Billion Drop, a customer engagement campaign that Casino Plus said complements its broader investments in responsible gaming, customer verification, and digital platform development.
"Each milestone represents a different aspect of our business," said Casino Plus Chief Executive Officer Evan Spytma. "The surety bond reinforces protection, our validated payouts demonstrate operational capability, and our latest customer engagement initiative reflects our continuing investment in creating a trusted and responsible digital entertainment platform."
Casino Plus said the Winsday Billion Drop campaign is being implemented alongside age verification checks, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, responsible gaming reminders, and full compliance with regulations set by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR).
Looking ahead, the company said it expects growth in the regulated digital entertainment industry to depend on innovation, governance, consumer protection, and responsible gaming practices.
