BP Silver Corp.

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 18, 2026) - BP Silver Corp. (TSXV: BPAG) (OTCQB: BPSCF) ("BP Silver" or the "Company") said it has updated its property-wide drone-based magnetic ("MAG") survey at its 100% owned Cosuño Silver Project ("Cosuño") in Bolivia.

As of the date of the news release, the MAG survey is approximately 35% complete and continues to advance. The program is planned to cover a minimum of 540 line kilometers at 100-meter (m) line spacing, with 50 m line spacing to be used where higher-resolution coverage is warranted.

The Company said data from the MAG survey will be integrated with existing geological mapping, surface sampling, drilling, and other geophysical datasets to further refine its exploration model and support target generation for its planned 6,000 m Phase 3 diamond drill program, which is expected to begin later this year. The survey adds another layer of technical data to a project that has already seen surface sampling and an initial drilling campaign, allowing the company to compare geophysical signatures with known alteration and geochemical anomalies before the next round of drilling. The Company said it will provide additional updates as the survey progresses and results become available.

About the author

BP Silver Corp.

BP Silver is a newly listed Canadian silver exploration company trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker "BPAG". Its flagship Cosuño Project in Potosí, Bolivia, is located within the Bolivian silver belt near deposits such as Cerro Rico and San Cristobal.

Surface sampling at Cosuño returned silver grades of up to 1,035 g/t Ag, along with significant base-metal by-products. After its TSX-V listing in September 2025, BP Silver began and completed the first diamond drilling program at the project between November and December 2025. The Phase 1 program included 11 diamond drill holes totaling 906 metres and tested four high-priority targets across an approximately 10.5 km² hydrothermal alteration system. The system is characterized by geochemical anomalies, strong alteration, and brecciation, features that are typical of major Bolivian silver systems. Initial assay results were expected in January 2026.

The company said it is led by a team with decades of Latin American and global mining experience and that it offers early exposure to a silver discovery opportunity in an underexplored region.
