Bittensor (TAO) Targets $1,500 as Buyers Defend $200 Support
Key Takeaways
- •Bittensor’s price is holding above the $200 support area, where buyers have repeatedly stepped in despite weak sentiment.
- •TAO was trading at $232.32, up 5.78% over the previous 24 hours, with a market capitalization of $2.61 billion.
- •Bittensor has expanded its decentralized AI network to Base using Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain connectivity.
- •The Base integration is intended to connect Bittensor’s compute, code, vision, and prediction features with Base’s DeFi and trading ecosystem.
- •Analysts say a breakout above resistance could shift targets toward $500, then $1,000, and eventually $1,500 if support continues to hold.

Bittensor (TAO) continues to hold key support as buyers defend its long-term structure, keeping a potential recovery in focus. At the same time, Bittensor’s expansion to Base through Chainlink CCIP is strengthening cross-chain connectivity, bringing decentralized AI closer to DeFi users and adding momentum to the broader onchain AI narrative.
Bittensor itself is a decentralized machine-learning network organized into specialized “subnets,” where participants supply services such as model training and inference and are rewarded in TAO. The token’s supply is capped at 21 million, and issuance follows a Bitcoin-style halving schedule roughly every four years, progressively slowing the rate of new supply.
At the time of writing, TAO is trading at $232.32, with a 24-hour trading volume of $217.92 million and a market capitalization of $2.61 billion. After gaining 5.78% over the last 24 hours, TAO’s price structure and network growth are being framed as signs of a possible bullish reversal.

TAO Price Targets $1,500 as Support Holds
According to crypto analyst etherealist, TAO continues to defend its long-term support structure, with the $200 zone repeatedly attracting buyers despite prolonged weak sentiment.
While the token often struggles to generate interest at these levels, a move toward $500 could change market perception. A sustained breakout could then bring $1,000 into focus as momentum strengthens further.

From a broader perspective, the setup appears asymmetric in terms of risk-to-reward, provided the support structure continues to hold.
A break above the resistance zone would open the path to a $1,500 target, although that would require market demand. For investors, the hardest part would likely be maintaining conviction through the move.
Bittensor Expands to Base With Chainlink CCIP
Data from ForeverMoney further showed that Bittensor has expanded its decentralized AI network to Base, linking AI infrastructure with one of the crypto sector’s fastest-growing Layer-2 networks.
Base, launched by crypto exchange Coinbase in August 2023, has since grown into one of the most heavily used venues for onchain applications, giving the expansion a distribution channel with substantial reach.
The integration is designed to bring Bittensor’s features — including compute, code, vision, and prediction — closer to Base’s user base, DeFi liquidity, and trading infrastructure.

Chainlink CCIP — the cross-chain interoperability standard from oracle provider Chainlink, already deployed across numerous major blockchains — serves as the connection between Bittensor and Base, enabling secure cross-chain communication and transactions.
The collaboration highlights the convergence of blockchain interoperability, artificial intelligence, and DeFi. As Bittensor continues expanding into other ecosystems, the integration could help accelerate development of onchain AI use cases.
What Happens Next?
TAO needs to hold support at $200 and clear multiple resistance levels to preserve its positive structure. If the token breaks above $500, upside momentum could extend toward $1,000 and even $1,500.
At the same time, deeper Base integration and Chainlink CCIP connectivity may support network adoption, while a drop below $200 could invalidate the reversal setup.
