BitGo Appoints Alex Rozman as Chief Compliance Officer

BitGo Holdings, Inc. (“BitGo” or the “Company”), a digital asset infrastructure company, announced the appointment of Alex Rozman as Chief Compliance Officer, effective September 21, 2026. In the role, Rozman will oversee BitGo’s enterprise-wide compliance and financial crime programs and will lead engagement with regulators, examiners, and banking authorities across BitGo’s legal entities globally.

The appointment underscores how central compliance functions have become for digital asset infrastructure providers, which serve institutional clients that must meet the same anti-money laundering and financial crime standards that apply across traditional finance.

Rozman is a seasoned risk, legal, and compliance executive with more than 25 years of experience building scalable anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance frameworks across traditional banking, market utilities, and digital assets — a career path that shows how compliance expertise built in banking and settlement utilities now carries directly into the digital asset industry.

He joins BitGo from Exodus Movement, Inc., where he served as Chief Compliance Officer beginning in May 2024. Previously, he held the position of Head of Global Compliance at Polygon Technology and served as Head of Financial Crime Compliance at CLS Bank International, a systemically important financial market utility for global foreign exchange settlement. Earlier in his career, he provided core AML advisory services to global financial institutions at Deloitte and Navigant Consulting, now known as Guidehouse.

Rozman currently serves on the board of the Association of International Bank Audit and Compliance Professionals, Inc. (AIBACP). He previously served as a director on the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board), where he chaired the Audit & Risk Committee.

“Alex is a key addition to BitGo’s leadership team as we aim to scale the business and drive innovation globally,” said Mike Belshe, CEO and Co-founder of BitGo. “He has his career helping regulated institutions manage risk in complex and evolving environments. His experience will be key to expanding BitGo’s institutional footprint, strengthening our risk management processes, and staying ahead of regulatory developments in every market we serve.”

“BitGo has built the infrastructure that institutions rely on to operate onchain, and I am excited by the opportunity to work with this remarkable team,” said Rozman. “The companies that succeed in this rapidly evolving financial system will be those that treat compliance as core infrastructure, as BitGo has done for many years. I look forward to helping BitGo scale that discipline as it expands into new markets and products.”

With the appointment effective September 21, 2026, Rozman assumes consolidated oversight of compliance and regulator relationships as BitGo pursues the global scaling and expansion into new markets and products both executives described, making the evolution of that compliance function a development to follow as the company broadens its institutional footprint.
