Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has released its July 2026 Transparency Report, documenting accelerating adoption of tokenized financial instruments as market participants increasingly integrate tokenized equities into their broader trading and investment strategies. The report outlines continued growth across unified trading infrastructure, AI-driven investing solutions, institutional offerings, and onchain finance—pointing to deeper adoption of tokenized instruments within digital asset markets.
Bitget's rToken product surpassed the $100 million threshold in assets under management (AUM) within five weeks of launch, reaching approximately $114 million by July 6. During the same period, aggregate trading volume reached $671.37 million, with average daily turnover of $19.75 million. The platform drew over 100,000 active rToken traders, and daily trading-user penetration increased eighteen-fold since launch. Additionally, 42.87% of initial buyers expanded their positions within one week, signaling sustained engagement beyond the first transaction. The rapid AUM growth comes as tokenized real-world assets, including equities and treasuries, have emerged as one of the fastest-expanding segments in digital asset markets, drawing participation from both crypto-native platforms and traditional financial institutions.
Independent market research published during the period reinforced Bitget's position in trading infrastructure. According to CryptoRank, the exchange demonstrated the lowest slippage on large tokenized equity trades and the highest balanced visible liquidity within 50 basis points among all evaluated platforms. Low slippage and tight spreads are critical execution-quality benchmarks for institutional traders, who require minimal price impact when deploying capital in size.
The CoinGlass 2026 Derivatives Market Report ranked Bitget second globally for ETH order book depth at $81.37 million and fourth worldwide for BTC liquidity depth. Separately, TokenInsight reported that traditional finance perpetual contract trading volume on Bitget approached $70 billion in the second quarter of 2026. The substantial TradFi perpetual volume underscores the degree to which crypto exchanges are positioning themselves as venues for tokenized exposure to conventional asset classes.
"Tokenized assets are only as strong as the market behind them. Investors don't care how many assets an exchange lists if they can't trade them efficiently," said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, in a written statement. "DeFiLlama latest research shows that Bitget delivers the deepest liquidity and execution for tokenized equities among the exchanges evaluated. As adoption grows, that's what will decide which platforms investors continue to trust," she added.
Infrastructure Expansion and Product Development
Bitget advanced its underlying tokenized finance infrastructure throughout July. The exchange enabled more than 100 tokenized U.S. equities to be used as collateral within its Unified Trading Account. Allowing tokenized equities to serve as collateral reduces the need for users to liquidate positions to access liquidity, a feature that aligns with broader cross-margin and unified collateral trends across major trading platforms. Bitget also launched GetAgent Playbook, extending AI-assisted trading into tokenized investment activities, and published an institutional cross-asset collateral guide examining capital efficiency across cryptocurrency and tokenized instruments.
Bitget Wallet surpassed 100 million users during the period, expanding stablecoin payment capabilities and tokenized instrument access through new integrations with Robinhood Chain and Assetback. Beyond product expansion, Bitget extended its Blockchain4Youth partnership with UNICEF's Game Changers Coalition from eight to eleven countries, broadening education in blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and financial literacy to additional young people worldwide.
The July Transparency Report reflects the ongoing maturation of tokenized markets as participants increasingly incorporate tokenized instruments into active trading, portfolio management, and cross-asset investment strategies. As tokenized equities gain traction, competitive differentiation among exchanges is expected to hinge on execution quality, collateral flexibility, and the breadth of assets supported—areas Bitget appears to be prioritizing in its infrastructure roadmap.
