US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) drew $608.3 million in net inflows on Thursday, lifting weekly inflows above $1.6 billion, while spot Ether ETFs logged their largest single-day intake since October.

The Bitcoin funds extended their positive streak to four consecutive sessions, having attracted $297.6 million on Monday, $189.3 million on Tuesday and $517.2 million on Wednesday, according to data from SoSoValue.

With Thursday's inflows, August's monthly net inflows reached $2.07 billion, a 2026 high for Bitcoin ETFs, already surpassing April's $1.97 billion — the previous monthly high for the year — with seven trading sessions still remaining in the month. Cumulative net inflows into the US spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $53.4 billion, a total built since the funds began trading in January 2024, when US regulators approved spot Bitcoin ETFs after years of applications.

Because the products publish creations and redemptions daily, ETF flow data has become one of the most closely watched gauges of demand for crypto exposure, allowing institutional and retail investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin and Ether through standard brokerage accounts rather than holding the coins directly. The seven remaining August sessions will set the month's final tally against April's benchmark.

The flows accompanied a continued rally in crypto markets. Bitcoin traded at $75,133 at the time of writing on Friday, up 7.9% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko, while Ether gained 4.6% to around $2,357.

Spot Ether ETFs, which launched in July 2024 following their Bitcoin counterparts to market, meanwhile attracted $220.8 million on Thursday, their largest daily net inflow across 203 trading sessions spanning 296 calendar days. The funds last recorded a larger intake on Oct. 28, 2025, when they drew approximately $246 million.

The Ether funds have taken in roughly $512.2 million across four trading sessions this week, bringing their August net inflows to about $754.9 million. Total net assets in the products reached $13.58 billion.
