United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their strongest week of net inflows this year, drawing $2.39 billion, according to data tracked by SoSoValue. The weekly tally included $134.5 million added on Friday.
The total was the largest since the week ending Oct. 10, 2025, when net inflows reached $2.71 billion, per SoSoValue. It also surpassed the previous high for 2026, the $1.92 billion recorded in August, making it the first weekly inflow above $2 billion year.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs, which hold the asset directly and began trading in the United States in January 2024, give institutional and retail investors regulated exposure to the cryptocurrency. Because the funds hold the asset themselves, net inflows add to the Bitcoin under their management while net outflows reduce it, making weekly flow tallies a gauge of demand coming through regulated US investment products.
After Friday's session, the funds' cumulative year-to-date flows stood at roughly $926 million. That marks a recovery from earlier in the year, when year-to-date flows had fallen to a deficit of about $5.55 billion in early July, a swing of roughly $6.5 billion.
