Binance Wallet Opens Access to $4.7 Trillion Pre-IPO Market Through PancakeSwap
Key Takeaways
- •Binance Wallet launched PancakeSwap-hosted Pre-Access campaigns on September 20, 2026, offering eligible users tokenized indirect exposure to private companies before they potentially go public.
- •Pre-Access Tokens are not company shares and provide no voting rights, dividends, shareholder rights or direct claim against the underlying company.
- •Participation requires a Binance Keyless Wallet, and allocation sizes depend on Alice Points, Trencher Badge status and bStocks tier, with PancakeSwap determining the final rules.
- •Binance Research estimated about 1,300 private companies valued above $1 billion each have a combined worth of nearly $4.7 trillion, while tokenized pre-IPO claims through Republic and PreStocks total only around $41 million.
- •The first campaign's target company, pricing and settlement terms have not been disclosed, and Pre-Access Tokens will not automatically convert into listed shares after an IPO.

Binance Wallet is giving eligible users access to PancakeSwap Pre-Access campaigns, offering tokenized, indirect exposure to private companies before a potential public listing. The first target company, its pricing and settlement terms have not yet been disclosed.
Pre-Access Tokens are not company shares. They do not provide voting rights, dividends, shareholder rights or a direct equity claim against the underlying company.
Binance Wallet announced the program on September 20, 2026:

How the Pre-Access Program Works
PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange, describes Pre-Access campaigns as subscription events that remain open for a defined period. Third parties provide the specific tokenized exposure, PancakeSwap presents the campaign, and Binance Wallet serves as the technical gateway.
Binance Wallet is therefore not directly selling pre-IPO tokens to users. According to Binance’s FAQ, a Pre-Access Token may provide contractual, synthetic or other indirect economic exposure to a private company or an underlying asset. The token does not confer voting rights, dividends, shareholder rights or a direct claim against the target company.
The first campaign’s target company, pricing and settlement terms have not been made public. Binance Wallet has said the first project will be revealed soon.
Users must have a Binance Keyless Wallet to participate. Access terms and campaign eligibility will be verified on the requesting user’s page. Allocation will depend on three conditions: Binance Alice Points, Trencher Badge status and the user’s on-chain status within the bStocks tier.
Users with higher Alpha Points, a higher bStocks tier or Trencher Badges may receive larger allocations. PancakeSwap will determine the final allocation rules. The program is an integration into Binance’s on-chain ecosystem rather than a conventional token sale.
$4.7 Trillion Private Market
The program is aimed at a large potential market. Binance Research estimated on September 16 that approximately 1,300 private companies valued at more than $1 billion had a combined value of nearly $4.7 trillion.
That estimate does not mean those companies will become available through Pre-Access. It represents a potential pool of assets that could serve as references for tokenized pre-IPO products.
The market for tokenized pre-IPO securities remains relatively immature. Binance Research said tokenized pre-IPO claims offered through Republic and PreStocks had reached approximately $41 million in combined market capitalization as of September 15. That figure is a tiny fraction of the nearly $4.7 trillion in private-company value Binance Research measured, underscoring the gap between the size of the private market and what has been tokenized so far.
Binance and PancakeSwap are positioning Pre-Access as a crypto-native method of providing private-market exposure without users directly holding the underlying securities.
Pre-Access Tokens Are Not Shares
Binance said the subscription price and the token’s implied value may differ substantially from a company’s private valuation, its IPO price or its eventual market value.
A Pre-Access Token will also not automatically convert into listed shares if the company later conducts an IPO. Any post-IPO asset could remain subject to transfer restrictions, liquidity requirements, separate settlement terms or lockups. The token could trade above or below the price of the underlying stock.
