Binance USDC Inflow Tops $470M as Bitcoin ETF Inflows Reach 10-Month High

Binance recorded more than $470 million in net USDC inflows on August 24, according to CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha, marking the exchange’s largest positive USDC netflow in 174 days.

At the same time, US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted their strongest weekly inflows in 10 months. The two developments came as Bitcoin rose about 23% during the week ending August 21 and moved above $80,000, underscoring a period when both exchange-based stablecoin liquidity and regulated fund demand strengthened at once.

Binance USDC Inflow Reaches 174-Day High

CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha reported that Binance received more than $470 million in net USDC inflows on August 24. The figure was the exchange’s highest positive USDC netflow since March 3 and represented a 174-day high.

Positive stablecoin netflows add dollar-linked liquidity to exchange trading. However, net deposits alone do not show how traders eventually use those funds, so the reading is best viewed as a liquidity indicator rather than a direct measure of trading activity.

The Binance inflow came after Bitcoin recorded its largest weekly gain in more than three years. BTC rose approximately 23% during the week ending August 21, then climbed above $80,000 and reached a three-month high on August 25.

CryptoQuant said exchange stablecoin balances and ETF flows measure different kinds of activity and therefore cannot be combined into a single capital-flow total. Even so, both indicators strengthened during the same period, alongside Bitcoin’s price advance.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit 10-Month High

US spot Bitcoin ETFs also logged their strongest weekly inflow performance since early October 2025.

CryptoQuant data showed the seven-day average of net ETF flows reached 3,820 BTC on August 21, the highest reading since early January. The seven-day total came to approximately 26,700 BTC.

Farside Investors separately recorded about $1.92 billion in net inflows between August 17 and August 21. All five trading sessions in that period showed positive flows, producing the strongest weekly result for Bitcoin ETFs in 10 months.

The ETF inflows came three days before Binance’s large USDC deposit. Together, the figures pointed to stronger liquidity across regulated investment products and exchange-based stablecoin balances, while also showing that different market channels can strengthen at the same time without reflecting the same capital source.

According to CryptoQuant, the next market development will depend on whether ETF demand continues and how traders deploy the newly deposited USDC. The two indicators now serve as separate measures of liquidity during Bitcoin’s recent recovery, and their persistence will help determine whether those conditions remain in place.
