Binance Invests $100M in Circle, Extends USDC Partnership Five Years as BNB Eyes $800 Resistance

Binance has invested $100 million in Circle and renewed its commercial agreement covering the USDC stablecoin for another five years, deepening a partnership that now includes a direct equity stake for the crypto exchange. BNB, the native asset of BNB Chain, traded near $785 on Sept. 23 as attention turned to the key $800 resistance area.

Circle said the deal will expand USDC access across emerging markets, while Binance will accelerate promotion and integration of the stablecoin across its platform. The announcement hands Binance a direct equity position in Circle and kept traders focused on BNB's move toward the $800 area.

Binance Expands Circle Partnership With $100M Investment

Circle said in its announcement that Binance purchased approximately 1.24 million Class A shares at $80.84 each through a private placement. The transaction closed on September 17 and provided Circle — which went public on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2025 — with roughly $100 million in new capital.

Under a separate five-year agreement, Binance will promote USDC, the dollar-pegged stablecoin Circle issues, across its products and markets. In return, Circle will pay Binance a monthly incentive fee linked to USDC balances held through Binance's wallet infrastructure.

The arrangement extends an existing relationship between the two companies rather than creating a new stablecoin structure. Binance had also integrated USDC deposits on Circle's Arc network on September 16, days before the investment was disclosed.

Circle said the renewed agreement is intended to widen USDC availability, particularly across emerging markets, drawing on the distribution of Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. Binance, for its part, gains exposure to Circle's growth while continuing to support the other stablecoins available through its platform.

BNB Chain Leads Tokenized ETF Growth in Q3

The USDC expansion is unfolding alongside broader growth in tokenized financial products across the BNB ecosystem. BNB Chain recorded the largest increase in tokenized ETF market capitalization during Q3 2026, adding $142 million over the quarter, according to data shared by CryptoRank on X — well ahead of the other chains in the comparison.

Robinhood Chain followed with a $34.2 million increase, while X Layer added $17.5 million. Solana recorded a $13.7 million gain, and Ink added $4.8 million.

Tokenized ETFs bring traditional exchange-traded fund exposure onto blockchain networks, and Binance has broadened its own tokenization push through bStocks on BNB Chain. The product brings tokenized U.S. securities on-chain and allows supported assets to interact with decentralized finance applications. The rollout expands BNB Chain's tokenized-asset activity and comes as Binance widens USDC distribution under the five-year agreement with Circle.

BNB Price Outlook: $800 Resistance in Focus

BNB was trading around $788 at the time of writing after recovering from the $520 to $550 region on the three-day chart. The token has also moved back above its former macro range high near $691.77.

The immediate test remains the $760 to $810 resistance zone, where BNB is currently trading. A sustained three-day close above $800 to $810 would confirm stronger acceptance above the supply area.

If buyers establish support above that range, the next technical zone sits between $850 and $900. The $850 level remains the first major hurdle before traders can assess a move toward $900.

Failure to clear $800 would leave BNB exposed to another pullback. According to an analyst on X, initial support is located near $748 to $750, followed by the former $691.77 macro range high. A sustained loss of $691.77, however, would weaken the recent breakout structure and expose lower support levels.
