Binance Futures, the derivatives trading platform of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has announced that it will delist three USDⓈ-M perpetual futures contracts. As a result of the decision, open positions in the PROMPTUSDT, PUMPBTCUSDT and 1000000BOBUSDT contracts will be automatically closed. USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts are derivatives quoted and settled in stablecoins such as USDT, and unlike dated futures they carry no expiry date, making them a widely used product type on crypto derivatives venues.
According to the announcement, the delisting will take place on October 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM. At that time, Binance Futures will close all open positions in the affected contracts and carry out an automated settlement process. the settlement is complete, the three perpetual contracts will be removed from the platform. Because closure and settlement are handled automatically by the exchange, holders are not required to close their positions manually before the deadline, and the contracts remain listed until that time.
The exchange said it periodically reviews its futures listings against a range of criteria. These reviews take into account trading volume and liquidity, the stability and security of a project's network against attacks, and new regulatory requirements. Listing reviews of this kind are a standard risk-management practice across major derivatives venues, giving exchanges a way to retire products whose liquidity, compliance posture or underlying project profile no longer meets their standards.
Binance also cited changes in token supply and token economics, a project's ownership structure, the commitment of team members to the project, and development activity as evaluation criteria. Projects' responses to periodic due diligence requests from Binance are likewise included in the review, as is any evidence of unethical or fraudulent conduct or negligence when the exchange decides whether a futures contract should be delisted.
Binance did not specify in its announcement which particular criteria led to the removal of the PROMPTUSDT, PUMPBTCUSDT and 1000000BOBUSDT contracts. The exchange also reminded users that some of the products and services mentioned in the announcement may not be available in certain regions. The notice covers the three derivatives contracts specifically and did not address any other trading services tied to the same assets.
