Binance Adds Tokenized Trump Media Security DJTB as Margin Collateral

Binance has enabled DJTB, the tokenized security tracking Trump Media & Technology Group, as margin collateral, extending its bStocks product into leveraged accounts for VIP traders in approved markets. The feature went live at 12:00 UTC on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, for customers ranked VIP 3 and above, with availability depending on each user's location and regulatory requirements.

Clients can deposit DJTB through cross margin, Unified Account Mode, and Unified Account Pro, and the asset can be used to support other margin positions within those accounts. Under the Binance announcement, the tokenized security qualifies as an eligible collateral asset, and leveraged trading opened in parallel for the corresponding bStocks trading pair.

How DJTB Works as Binance Margin Collateral

The exchange opened margin trading for the related bStocks pair, but customers cannot borrow DJTB. Binance permits the token only as collateral, meaning holders can include the value of their tokenized Trump Media exposure in margin calculations. A collateral ratio determines how much of that value increases an account's borrowing capacity.

The platform may change the ratio and its controls when market conditions shift; if it lowers the ratio, a smaller share of DJTB's market value will count as collateral.

Using the security for leverage introduces liquidation risk. A price decline could weaken the customer's margin level, and Binance may liquidate positions if the account falls below maintenance requirements. Holding DJTB in a spot account does not create the same margin exposure — the risk arises only when customers pledge the security to support leveraged trades.

The service remains limited to VIP 3 users and above. The exchange had reduced the minimum asset balance from $3 million to $1 million, and trading activity and BNB requirements can also determine user eligibility.

DJTB/USDT Spot Trading Launches With Zero Maker Fees

DJTB provides users with pricing exposure based on Trump Media & Technology Group, whose stock trades on Nasdaq under the ticker DJT. Binance categorizes bStocks as tokenized securities backed by financial instruments. The token does not act like the usual Trump Media stock: the owner is not automatically listed on the company's shareholder register, and DJTB ownership gives no link to the company.

DJTB is also different from the non-tradable shareholder reward token that Trump Media introduced in early 2026, for which the company set February as the record date for eligible DJT shareholders.

DJTB/USDT spot trading commenced on Binance at 12:00 UTC on August 26, according to the exchange's listing notice. The trading pair will have spot algorithmic bots, and withdrawals are expected to be scheduled after an hour.

Maker zero fees apply to DJTB/USDT pairs from now until August 31 at 23:59 UTC. Conversion is free of charge via the Convert service, which turns stock assets into bStocks at a one-for-one ratio.

What ADGM Regulations Mean for DJTB Traders

The margin launch follows the debut of the DJTUSDT perpetual contract, which launched on August 25. The derivative offers access to Trump Media exposure with 20x leverage and gives no ownership benefits.

According to Binance, the bStocks operate under a regulated prospectus in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The ADGM legal framework has authorized ADGM legal entities to conduct certain exchange, custody, clearing, and investment business operations. No public offering is made outside of ADGM; the products are available only to eligible clients in approved jurisdictions, and trading takes place only via secondary markets.

DJTB has not been registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933 or state securities laws. Distribution is prohibited to US persons and entities acting for their account or benefit.
