Bercor, the global financial technology group, has announced the launch of Bercor Pay — a USD Visa card built to provide what the company describes as "one intelligent payment experience" for consumers whose lives, work, and finances span multiple countries. The card debuted on 29 July 2026.
Bercor Pay is accepted at millions of Visa merchants worldwide and supports both Apple Pay and Google Pay, enabling tap-to-pay functionality from smartphones and watches. A defining feature of the card is its upfront fee transparency: every charge is displayed before a transaction is completed.
Addressing Gaps in Cross-Border Spending
Global spending remains one of the most common yet poorly served aspects of modern financial life, according to the company. Cross-border consumers frequently encounter hidden markups, opaque fee structures, and cards that perform inconsistently across jurisdictions. The competitive landscape for cross-border payment cards has expanded in recent years, with fintechs such as Wise, Revolut, and others targeting similar pain points around foreign exchange transparency and multi-currency usability. Bercor Pay enters this market with a single USD-denominated card proposition rather than a multi-currency wallet model.
Bercor Pay aims to close that gap by offering a single USD card with a unified fee schedule and a global acceptance footprint.
"Boundaries are just lines on a map. Bercor Pay is built for a world that already lives that way — one intelligent payment experience for people whose lives, work, and money cross borders every day," said Javier Gonzales, Head of Business Development at Bercor.
Backed by Institutional-Grade Infrastructure
Bercor Pay serves as the consumer-facing division of the Bercor Group. The broader organization operates several business lines: enterprise financial infrastructure (Bercor Finance), liquidity coordination (Bercor Flow), merchant infrastructure (Bercor POS), AI systems (Bercor Compute), and regional payment solutions (Bercor Solutions). The card draws on this ecosystem, combining institutional-grade security and compliance with consumer-level simplicity. By issuing on the Visa network, Bercor Pay gains access to one of the world's largest payment acceptance infrastructures, spanning merchants and ATMs across more than 200 countries and territories.
"Trust is the foundation of everything Bercor builds. Bercor Pay brings that same institutional discipline to consumers — security, compliance, and clarity are built into the card, not added on top," Gonzales added.
Phased Rollout
Bercor Pay is rolling out in phases, beginning with an initial first-batch cohort. The company notes that availability varies by country and region and remains subject to compliance approval. As with other cross-border card products, Bercor Pay's expansion will depend on securing regional licensing and regulatory approvals in each target market.
