Cathie Wood's ARK Invest published its daily trade disclosures for Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, covering several of the firm's exchange-traded funds. The firm, which publishes a daily log of buys and sells across its actively managed ETFs, showed a two-way pattern: it sold a number of well-known technology and growth names while adding to a wide range of biotech companies. The daily cadence gives outside observers a transaction-level view of the repositioning as it happens.
DraftKings and CareDx Lead the Selling
The largest sale of the day was DraftKings. ARK sold 397,016 shares of the sports-betting operator through its ARKW and ARKF funds, worth about $7.89 million, according to Investing.com. The sale continues a recent trend, as ARK sold large amounts of DraftKings earlier in the week as well.
ARK also sold 57,911 shares of CareDx, a diagnostics company focused on transplant monitoring, through ARKG, a stake worth $3.60 million. The firm has sold CareDx steadily over the past week.
Tech, Space and Crypto-Linked Positions Trimmed
Space holdings were also on the sell list. ARK sold 22,276 shares of Space Exploration Technologies Corp — Elon Musk's private aerospace company, known as SpaceX — in a transaction worth $3.58 million. Because SpaceX is privately held, its shares change hands through periodic private-market transactions rather than on a public exchange.
The ARK Innovation ETF, known as ARKK, reduced its stakes in five companies: SpaceX, Advanced Micro Devices, Alphabet, Robinhood Markets and Shopify.
The selling went beyond technology. ARKF sold the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and DraftKings, while ARKG cut its positions in Personalis and CareDx. The ARK Space & Defense Innovation ETF sold Iridium Communications.
ARKG Rotates Into Biotech
Most of the buying took place in ARKG. Rather than concentrating on a single stock, the fund added to many biotech companies.
ARK bought 21,487 shares of CRISPR Therapeutics, worth $1.08 million, and 48,171 shares of Intellia Therapeutics for $606,954. Both are gene-editing companies, as is Beam Therapeutics, which ARK also added. Gene-editing technologies are designed to make targeted changes to DNA, an approach aimed at addressing disease at its genetic source. The fund purchased 56,096 shares of Nurix Therapeutics, valued at $1.24 million, and continues to build that position.
ARKG also bought 7,210 shares of Guardant Health for $1.19 million. Other purchases included Kymera Therapeutics, Compass Pathways, Alamar Biosciences and Freenome. The batch of additions spans several distinct biotech niches: Guardant Health and Freenome work on blood-based cancer testing, Nurix and Kymera develop targeted protein degraders, and Compass Pathways focuses on psychedelic-based mental health therapies.
Beyond biotech, the ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF bought Symbotic and Kodiak AI. Because ARK posts its transactions every trading day, upcoming daily disclosures will show whether the DraftKings and CareDx selling and the multi-name biotech buying continue.
Fund and Stock Performance
ARKG closed up more than 4% in Friday's regular session and rose nearly 0.4% in after-hours trading. CRISPR Therapeutics gained 5.85% on the day, Beam Therapeutics rose 4.47%, and Compass Pathways advanced 4.62%. DraftKings fell 1.46%, and AMD dropped 2.03%.
Retail sentiment on Stocktwits around ARKG was bearish at the time of writing.
