AmpliTech Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPG, AMPGZ) has received approximately $7.3 million in follow-on orders from an Asian mobile network operator to support deployments under the company’s previously announced 5G O-RAN radio Letter of Intent (LOI) program.
The orders follow the successful deployment of AmpliTech’s O-RAN radios at the end customer’s 5G sites and represent renewed purchasing activity under the program. AmpliTech said the orders, together with recently received follow-on orders supporting its North American mobile network operator (MNO) program, restore momentum under the LOI initiative and support the conversion of its opportunity pipeline into shipments and revenue.
The company said the development demonstrates progress in commercializing its 5G O-RAN technology and expanding its presence in the global telecommunications market.
