AMLBot Launches AI Tracer for Cross-Chain Crypto Tracking
Key Takeaways
- •AI Tracer enables users to trace visible fund flows from a single transaction hash across fourteen blockchain networks without requiring enterprise-grade software or specialized expertise.
- •The tool can follow assets through cross-chain bridges and track funds split across multiple wallets by automatically traversing transaction graphs and matching addresses against known entity labels.
- •AMLBot offers a free tier alongside paid plans, making the product accessible to journalists, researchers, law enforcement, compliance teams, and individual crypto users.
- •The company explicitly states that AI Tracer cannot see internal exchange transfers, determine payment motivations, freeze assets, or guarantee recovery, and its reports should not replace formal audits or legal procedures.
- •The launch responds to growing demand for accessible blockchain analytics as decentralized bridges, mixers, and multi-chain activity have complicated efforts to trace stolen or suspicious funds.

Crypto forensics and compliance company AMLBot has launched AI Tracer, a self-service blockchain analysis tool designed to map visible fund movements from a single transaction hash across multiple blockchain networks.
The new tool aims to lower the barrier to entry for transaction tracing, which has traditionally required specialist software and expertise. Until now, on-chain investigation has been dominated by enterprise-grade platforms such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, and TRM Labs, whose tools are typically licensed by exchanges, compliance teams, and government agencies. AMLBot is positioning AI Tracer as a more accessible alternative, offering a free tier alongside paid plans with higher limits on the number of automated checks.
AMLBot said AI Tracer can also follow fund flows through cross-chain bridges and track assets that have been split across multiple wallets. Cross-chain bridges have become a particular focus for forensic investigators, as several of the largest crypto exploits in recent years have involved bridge vulnerabilities and the rapid movement of stolen assets across networks to obscure their origin.
"The process is automatic: the AI traverses the transaction graph, follows the movement of funds from the starting address through intermediate wallets toward whatever endpoint the money reached, and matches known entity labels — exchanges, services, flagged addresses — against every wallet it encounters," the company said in a press release shared with Cointelegraph.
According to the announcement, AI Tracer has clear limitations. It cannot see transfers between internal exchange accounts, determine why a payment was made, freeze assets, or guarantee recovery. Its reports are intended as a starting point for investigations and do not replace a formal audit or legal process.
Currently supported networks include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, TRON, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Ethereum Classic, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Solana, Cardano, and Ripple.
AMLBot said the tool is suitable for journalists, researchers, traders, and crypto users who want to read transaction paths, as well as law enforcement agents investigating crypto crime, independent investigators, and compliance teams.
The launch comes amid growing demand for accessible blockchain analytics tools, as the proliferation of decentralized bridges, mixers, and multi-chain activity has made it increasingly difficult for individuals and organizations to trace stolen or suspicious funds without specialized platforms.
