  • Hole ALRC070 yielded a standout intercept of 31 metres at 1.29 grams per tonne gold starting just 16 metres below the existing pit floor.
  • The new assay data will be incorporated into a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource update scheduled for the current quarter.
  • Adavale shares closed up 5.56% at 3.8 cents, giving the company a market capitalisation of $12.06 million.
Adavale Resources Reports Wide Gold Intersections Confirming Continuity at London-Victoria Mine

Adavale Resources (ASX:ADD) has received assay results from 11 reverse circulation (RC) holes totalling 2,394 metres, completed as part of its ongoing resource drillout beneath the London-Victoria gold mine in New South Wales.

The latest batch of drilling targeted the area below the 1.5km-long London-Victoria open pit. Most holes returned reportable gold mineralisation across six drill sections spanning approximately 700 metres of northing, covering the northern, central, and southern portions of the deposit. The broad coverage is significant for a brownfields project, where the primary objective is to confirm that historical mine geology extends beyond previously mined zones rather than to discover an entirely new system.

A standout intercept of 31 metres at 1.29 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 133 metres depth was recorded in hole ALRC070. The intersection sits just 16 metres below the existing pit floor, a position Adavale considers strategically important. The company believes this shallow mineralisation could be accessed early in a future pit cutback and serve as a source of initial plant feed during the establishment of mining operations. Shallow mineralisation near existing pit infrastructure is generally associated with lower stripping ratios, meaning less waste material needs to be removed per tonne of ore.

Managing Director David Ward said: "These latest results reinforce what the systematic drillout is showing us — gold mineralisation is consistently developed below the London-Victoria pit across multiple sections. ALRC070's 31-metre intercept at 1.29 grams per tonne, commencing just 16m below the pit floor, is a strong result in its own right, while the broad intervals in ALRC060 and ALRC061 demonstrate the continuity and scale of the mineralised package."

"Importantly, this is not dependent on a single standout hole. The repeated intersections across the whole 1.5km strike of the open pit are increasing drill density and strengthening our geological interpretation ahead of the planned Mineral Resource update. London-Victoria continues to demonstrate the attributes of a substantial brownfields gold system, providing a clear foundation for further growth," Ward added.

The newly received assay data will be incorporated into Adavale's geological model and feed into a planned Mineral Resource update scheduled for the current quarter. A Mineral Resource estimate, reported in accordance with the JORC Code, quantifies the tonnage and grade of mineralisation with defined confidence categories and underpins any subsequent scoping or feasibility work. Drilling remains active at the site, with additional assay results to be disclosed following receipt, validation, and interpretation.
