A7 to Unveil A7 International, a USDT Payment Service Settled via SWIFT Bank Transfers

Moscow, Russia, October 12, 2026 (Chainwire)

A7, the Russian international settlement system created by Bank PSB, is set to present A7 International on October 13, a service that enables payments for a foreign counterparty's invoice in USDT, with the funds arriving via a standard SWIFT bank transfer in the required currency. USDT is a US dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether, the largest stablecoin by market capitalization, while SWIFT is the global messaging network banks use to exchange standardized payment instructions, linking thousands of financial institutions worldwide. The structure bridges two settlement environments: the payer commits value in a blockchain-based dollar token, while the receiving side collects funds through conventional bank rails in the currency the invoice specifies.

The service will cater primarily to foreign trade operators, though individuals are also eligible customers. The fee remains fixed at 0.3 percent. Stablecoins have become a widely used instrument for cross-border value transfer, and connecting one to SWIFT settlement places a digital asset payment method within the messaging infrastructure used for much of the world's international bank payments.

Petr Fradkov, Chairman of PJSC Bank PSB, and Ilan Shor, CEO of A7, will provide a glimpse into the new offering on October 13 at 13:13, where further operational details of the service are expected to be shared. To join the live broadcast and learn about the new project, follow the link:
