Puma Energy，這家大宗商品交易公司Trafigura的子公司，表示已透過其當地實體Puerto Rico Energy LLC，開始在波多黎各供應船用燃料。
該公司在昨天的LinkedIn貼文中表示，能夠透過駁船、管線和卡車在全島配送船用燃料，使其可覆蓋當地整個供應鏈，而不僅限於單一配送路線。
“Puerto Rico Energy pairs on-island strength - terminal storage, island-wide delivery, and local commercial support - with international sourcing and a full range of high quality marine fuel grades,” company added.
“對客戶而言，這意味著在波多黎各每一次港口靠泊都只需要一家供應商。”
這一舉措為一個市場增添了另一個供應據點，而在該市場中，海運燃料的可得性與物流往往取決於港口通達性與協調配送。對航運客戶來說，其實際價值在於把儲存、運輸與商業支援整合到同一個在地營運中，從而在不改變所提供燃料等級的情況下，簡化加注作業。
