CME Group週一表示，其1-Ounce Gold期貨合約在新24小時、每週7天交易時段的開放週末，成交近15,000份，名義價值約為$60 million。
這家衍生品交易所營運商為該合約推出24/7交易模式，讓客戶能在一天中的任何時間、每週任何一天交易受監管的黃金期貨，並進一步擴大這項在常規交易時段已經相當活躍的產品的可及性。
CME Group金屬業務全球主管暨董事總經理 Jin Hennig 表示：「Gold is a global safe-haven asset, and global events don’t stop on weekends.」
他補充說，CME的「launch demonstrates that retail traders were ready and waiting for always-on, regulated and right-sized products to manage their exposure to gold.」
Robinhood Derivatives資深總監暨營運長 Adam Hickerson 表示：「24/7 Gold futures from CME Group offer our customers the ability to trade regulated futures contracts at any time of the day, any day of the week, from any timezone.」他並表示：「This brings instant real-time digital access to the world’s oldest store of value.」
CME Group表示，今年其黃金期貨的日均名義交易額已創下$125 billion的紀錄。1-Ounce Gold期貨合約於2025年1月推出，並在2026年上半年錄得日均87,000份合約的成交量。
該公司的金屬業務在今年上半年創下紀錄，受貴金屬交易帶動，日均成交1.3 million份合約，較去年同期增加55%。
