Chipotle Mexican Grill 已在墨西哥開設首家餐廳，標誌著這家快速休閒連鎖品牌國際成長策略的新一步，也代表一家以墨西哥風味餐點為核心的美國品牌進入一個重要市場。

根據 Chipotle 的新聞稿，該據點於 July 16 在 Nuevo León 的 San Pedro Garza García 開幕，位於 Monterrey 都會區內。這家餐廳由 Chipotle 與餐飲營運商 Alsea 合作經營，Alsea 在拉丁美洲和歐洲擁有大型餐飲品牌組合。

"We are entering Mexico with deep respect for the country's culinary heritage and a commitment to delivering the Chipotle experience with excellence," Chipotle 執行長 Scott Boatwright 在聲明中表示。"Our research has reinforced our belief that there is strong interest in high-quality, freshly prepared food served with the customization and convenience that Chipotle offers."

Chipotle 和 Alsea 計畫今年稍晚在 Nuevo León 開設更多餐廳，隨後於 2027 擴展至 Mexico City。San Pedro Garza García 餐廳是雙方在 April 2025 宣布的開發協議下開設的第一個據點。

根據 Chipotle，Alsea 在拉丁美洲和歐洲多個國家為全球速食、咖啡店和全服務餐廳品牌營運數千家餐廳。與成熟的區域營運商合作，讓 Chipotle 在測試需求並拓展最大市場以外業務時獲得在地營運支援。

這家墨西哥新餐廳提供 Chipotle 的標準菜單，包括可客製化的 burritos、bowls、tacos、salads 和 quesadillas。該公司表示，許多食材來自區域供應商。

Chipotle 表示，選擇 Monterrey 地區是因為其 "strong economy, growing population"，以及作為主要商業中心的角色。

"Bringing Chipotle to Mexico is an important step in our growth and portfolio diversification strategy," Alsea 執行長 Christian Gurría 在聲明中表示。"We are introducing an iconic brand with a differentiated value proposition that has resonated with millions of guests around the world, and we are confident it will be warmly welcomed by Mexican consumers."

截至 March 31，Chipotle 在全球營運超過 4,100 家餐廳。該連鎖品牌預計在 2026 開設 350 至 370 個新據點。

Chipotle 的國際版圖包括加拿大、歐洲和中東的餐廳，並計畫在 South Korea 和 Singapore 增設據點。隨著該公司持續建立美國以外的業務，墨西哥拓展將成為多個值得關注的市場之一。
