Atlas Mining 週四在公告中表示，Bautista 於週三舉行的該礦業公司特別董事會議上獲選。
他於 2022 年至 2025 年擔任交通部長。在進入政府任職前，他曾於 2004 年至 2012 年，以及 2014 年至 2019 年兩度擔任 Philippine Airlines 總裁兼營運長。
根據公告，Bautista 目前也擔任 Philippine Stock Exchange、San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc.、San Miguel Corp.、Eagle Cement Corp. 及 Mit-Pacific Infrastructure Holdings Corp. 的獨立董事。
他同時擔任 University of the East 及 University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center 董事會顧問。此次任命使他在企業董事會中擔任的職務進一步增加，涵蓋金融、食品與飲料、水泥及基礎建設等產業的公司。
