GitLab shares reversed earlier weakness after strong quarterly results highlighted record bookings, recurring revenue growth, and sustained enterprise demand. GTLB surged 21.09% to $54.60 pre-market after closing 3.12% lower at $45.09. The rebound followed GitLab’s fiscal second-quarter report, which showed 21% revenue growth and stronger platform adoption in a software market where buyers are still prioritizing tools that unify development, security, and operations.
Рост выручки GitLab поддержал сильный отскок на пре-маркете
GitLab generated $286.3 million in second-quarter revenue, compared with $236.0 million during the same period last year. That result represented 21% annual growth and reflected continued demand across the company’s DevSecOps platform. Meanwhile, net annual recurring revenue growth exceeded 40%, strengthening the company’s broader growth profile.
The company also reported more than 100% year-over-year First Order growth during the quarter. Customers generating over $5,000 in annual recurring revenue increased 8% to 11,114. In addition, customers exceeding $100,000 in annual recurring revenue rose 17% to 1,571.
GitLab ended the quarter with a 117% dollar-based net retention rate. Total remaining performance obligations increased 16% to $1.2 billion, while current obligations grew 20% to $744.7 million. These figures showed continued contract expansion and a larger base of committed future revenue.
Спрос на ИИ стимулирует новые продукты и рекордные заказы
GitLab expanded its platform during the quarter with new tools focused on software automation, security, and development workflows. GitLab Flex introduced one annual commitment covering platform seats, credits, and eligible capabilities under a more adaptable commercial structure. The company also launched Secrets Manager for Premium and Ultimate customers using GitLab.com.
GitLab Orbit entered public beta and connected code, work items, pipelines, deployments, and production signals within one context graph. Internal testing showed faster agent responses and fewer hallucinations across selected development tasks. The company linked these improvements to growing software creation and wider use of automated development systems.
GitLab also highlighted external recognition and research supporting its platform strategy. Gartner named GitLab a DevSecOps platform leader for the fourth consecutive year. Separately, a Forrester study estimated 400% returns and $7.5 million in three-year net present value.
