Canada Nickel Company (TSXV: CNC) has reported significant growth in its resource base across the Timmins district of Ontario, with an updated resource estimate for its Deloro project and a maiden resource for the Nesbitt target.

The updated resource for the Deloro project adds 1.55 million global contained tonnes of nickel, while the initial resource estimate for Nesbitt contributes an additional 410,000 contained tonnes. Nesbitt marks the ninth mineralized target that Canada Nickel has successfully delineated within the Timmins district.

Together, these new estimates bring Canada Nickel's total resource holdings in the Timmins district to approximately 4.3 billion tonnes of mineralized material. Mineral resource estimates are an important step in defining the scale of a deposit, though they are distinct from mineral reserves and typically require further technical, economic, and permitting work before any development decision.

Canada Nickel is advancing a portfolio of nickel-cobalt projects in the Timmins region, an established mining camp in northeastern Ontario with a long history of base metal and gold production. The company's flagship Crawford Nickel-Cobalt Sulphide Project is the core asset in its district-scale land package, and the additional targets — including Deloro and Nesbitt — form part of a broader strategy to build a major North American nickel supply hub.

Nickel is a critical input for stainless steel and increasingly for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, positioning large-scale, low-cost nickel resources as strategically significant amid growing global demand for battery metals.

The company continues to pursue further exploration and resource delineation across its additional targets in the Timmins district.
