SharpLink-Aktie steigt, da der Ethereum-Ausbruch die Marke von 10 US-Dollar in den Fokus rückt

SharpLink stock extended its rally this week as Ethereum climbed to its highest level since January. SBET reached $8.57 on Aug. 25 after falling as low as $4.46 in late June.

The stock has gained more than 80% from that low as Ethereum’s technical and fundamental backdrop improved. SharpLink remains one of the largest corporate ETH holders, making its shares especially sensitive to moves in Ethereum. For investors following crypto-tied equities, that means the stock can reflect not just company-specific developments, but also changes in the broader Ethereum market and treasury valuations.

SharpLink Stock Benefits From Ethereum Price Rally

SharpLink is the second-largest listed corporate Ethereum holder behind BitMine Immersion Technologies. The company reported 888,938 ETH as of Aug. 3, compared with 886,881 ETH at the end of June.

BitMine remains much larger, reporting 5.85 million ETH as of Aug. 23. The company said those holdings represented approximately 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply.

SharpLink’s large treasury leaves SBET exposed to changes in Ethereum’s market value. Rising ETH prices increase the value of its crypto assets, while sharp declines in Ethereum can pressure the company’s balance sheet and share price.

That relationship has been visible during the latest rally. SBET closed at $6.29 on Aug. 18 before climbing to $8.50 on Aug. 25, a gain of about 35% in five trading sessions.

The stock has also recovered about 90% from its June 26 low of $4.46. Even so, SBET remains below its 2026 high of $11.10, which was reached on Jan. 14.

SharpLink Positioned to Benefit as Ethereum Surges

SharpLink has become the second-biggest Ethereum-accumulating company in the world after BitMine Immersion. It now holds 890,376 coins valued at more than $2.14 billion. Those holdings are equivalent to 0.72% of all Ethereum tokens in circulation.

Because of that exposure, the stock tends to track Ethereum’s performance closely. That helps explain why the shares have rebounded in recent days.

After spending months in a consolidation phase, Ethereum broke higher this week and reached its highest level since January. The move has also been accompanied by a number of technical signals that suggest the rally may continue.

One of those signals is a golden cross pattern. This occurs when the 50-day and 200-day moving averages cross. In this case, only the weighted moving averages have crossed so far, meaning traders may wait for confirmation from other moving averages such as exponential and smoothed averages.

Ethereum has also moved above the key resistance level of $2,463, its high from April 17. In addition, the token has formed a bullish pennant pattern, a continuation setup in technical analysis that can point to a breakout toward the psychological $3,000 level.

Ethereum Shows Strong Fundamentals

Ethereum’s fundamentals have also improved. One sign is growing demand for ETH exchange-traded funds. Data show that spot Ethereum ETFs have seen more than $1 billion in inflows this month, suggesting that retail and institutional investors are increasingly interested in the token and expect further gains.

Other crypto ETFs have also attracted strong inflows. Bitcoin ETFs have brought in more than $2 billion this month, while altcoins such as XRP and Solana have also seen inflows.

Additional data point to rising demand for Ethereum staking, with the staking ratio climbing to 35%. Some of that activity is coming from BitMine, which has staked ETH tokens worth billions of dollars.

SharpLink has also staked all of its coins. In its most recent results, the company generated more than $11 million in revenue and has produced 26,193 coins through staking over time. As Ethereum’s price rises, the value of its holdings and staking rewards also increases.

SharpLink Stock Price Technical Analysis

The daily chart shows that SharpLink shares have rebounded over the past few months, rising from a low of $4.46 to a high of $8.50.

The stock has now moved above the key resistance level of $8, which was its highest level in April and May. Breaking above that area suggests bulls are in control for now.

SBET has also risen above the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), while the Supertrend indicator has turned green. The most likely short-term outlook is therefore bullish, with the next level to watch being the psychological $10 mark.

That view would be invalidated if the stock falls below support at $8.
