儘管 Griffin 與紐約市市長 Zohran Mamdani 不和，這座位於紐約市、未來將容納 Ken Griffin 旗下 Citadel 的摩天大樓開發仍在推進。

350 Park Avenue 的項目由 Griffin 的 Citadel 與 Vornado Realty Trust 及 Rudin 共同開發，Griffin 旗下兩家公司將擔任主要承租戶。隨著基地目前已進入拆除階段，這項計畫仍是曼哈頓中城備受關注的商辦開發案之一；在該區，大型新辦公大樓通常要依賴漫長的規劃時程、大筆資本投入，以及在施工啟動前完成租戶預租。

Vornado Realty Trust 執行長 Steven Roth 週二在公司財報電話會議上表示，該項目已在進行中，而這家房地產投資信託打算將其在合資中的持股提高到最大。

"If you drive or walk past Park Avenue at 52nd Street, you will see that our 350 Park Avenue site is now under construction, actually under demolition. We intend to shortly exercise our investment option to participate in this deal at our maximum ownership alongside Ken Griffin as our 60% partner and with Citadel as our 1-million-square-foot anchor tenant."

Roth 表示，Citadel 在合資中持有 60% 股份，而 Vornado 的持股上限為 36%。

在 Mamdani 於一段談及其新 pied-à-terre 稅的影片中特別批評 Griffin 擁有 Central Park South 頂層公寓後，該項目仍持續推進；這項稅針對的是高價住宅，且屋主並非全年居住在紐約市。

Mamdani 於 4 月 15 日在 Griffin 頂層公寓前拍攝影片，引發爭議，並點名這位對沖基金億萬富豪將適用新的豪宅稅。

"When I ran for mayor, I said I was going to tax the rich. Well, today we're taxing the rich… This is an annual fee on luxury properties worth more than $5 million whose owners do not live full-time in the city – like this penthouse, which hedge fund CEO Ken Griffin bought for $238 million," Mamdani said in the video.

Griffin 回應稱這項人身攻擊 "creepy and weird"，並表示這使他處於危險之中，也反映出 Mamdani "profound lack of judgment"。

Citadel 高層其後暗示，新的辦公空間可能成為 Mamdani 企業政策的受害者。

該公司營運長 Gerald Beeson 於 4 月 23 日致員工備忘錄中寫道，350 Park Avenue 的開發即將開始，將創造 "6,000 highly paid construction jobs"，並支持在紐約曼哈頓中城創造 "more than 15,000 permanent jobs"。

"The project – if we move forward – will entail more than $6 billion dollars of spending," Beeson wrote.

Mamdani 最後放軟語氣，並感謝 Griffin 對紐約市的貢獻，包括為 9 月 11 日襲擊中遇難的警員，以及在襲擊後復原過程中因相關疾病去世者，提供紀念牆資金。該紀念牆預計將於今年稍晚在 NYC Police Headquarters 啟用。
