Tempo 由风投公司 Paradigm 和支付公司 Stripe 孵化，面向商户支付、工资发放和跨境转账等高吞吐结算场景设计。该网络采用以稳定币计价的 gas 费用，允许用户使用稳定币而非波动较大的原生代币支付交易成本。此外，Tempo 还内置了去中心化交易所，可原生处理资产兑换，而无需经由外部协议。该网络近期已上线其公共测试网，使此次合作处于开发早期但时机较为关键的阶段。

The collaboration positions MoonPay’s infrastructure as a funding layer for developers and businesses building on Tempo. Through Ramps and Virtual Accounts, ecosystem participants can access fiat-to-stablecoin pipelines that support wallet funding, treasury movement, and payment settlement directly on the network. For payment-focused blockchains, that kind of integration matters because the user journey depends on how easily funds can move in and out of the system, not just on what the chain can process once assets are already there.

MoonPay has previously carried out similar integrations with Hyperliquid, targeting active traders, and Deel, focusing on global payroll and contractor payments. The Tempo collaboration extends that approach toward merchant and institutional settlement workflows, reflecting a broader effort to reduce friction between conventional banking and blockchain-based payment systems.

Tempo’s native stablecoin, PathUSD, serves as a core settlement asset on the network. By adding PathUSD to its virtual account infrastructure, MoonPay enables new users to acquire the token directly through conventional payment methods rather than through secondary markets. Along with USDC.e, an Ethereum-linked variant of Circle’s USDC, the expanded asset support gives businesses and end users more options for holding and settling value in a stablecoin-native environment. As Tempo’s ecosystem develops from its public testnet stage, these kinds of onramp and funding links are likely to remain central to how the network is used in practice.
