UNIVERSAL ROBINA CORP. (URC) said it received recognition at the Philippines’ Best Employer Brand Awards 2026 for its employee development and workplace programs.

In a statement on Tuesday, the company said its workforce initiatives include leadership development, early-career programs, employee engagement efforts, and continuous learning opportunities.

URC said these initiatives are part of its “Grow Beyond UR Job” employer value proposition, which focuses on learning, leadership, and career development.

“Receiving this honor underscores a fundamental truth at URC: our sustained business success is entirely powered by our people. By continuously investing in leadership development and next-generation talent, we are building a highly agile, future-ready organization,” URC President and Chief Executive Officer Irwin Lee said.

The award was presented by the Employer Branding Institute and the World HRD Congress, which recognize organizations for employer branding, people practices, employee development, and workplace culture.

URC said it has expanded its employee development programs over the past 70 years to support workforce growth and leadership development across the organization, underscoring how such programs have become part of how large employers compete for and retain talent in a tighter labor market.

The company said the recognition follows other workplace-related awards it received in 2025, including being named among HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work For in Asia for a third consecutive year and receiving TalentView’s Best Recruitment Innovation for Young Talents award.
